Hey, Does anyone need a downpipe?
I'm getting a Borla cat-back from some guy on SupraForums that lives in Vancouver. He's got a "Japanese DP with no cat" that he'll throw in for $25 if anyone's interested. I can't use it but $25 sounds like a good deal - maybe I'll eBay it.

Anyway, he says the cat-back is a 2.5" mandrel-bent stainless steel with a Borla "Blow-Torch" muffler that has a 4.25" tip. All for $125

Meh...
I talked to the banks, they'll lend me $5K but I'd have to pay it back at $200/mo - with gas prices right now I don't think I could afford to run a turbo. Also yeah - I've lost my license for 2 months

Too many bills to pay right now I guess, student loans suck. If its still for sale in the summer I might go look at it - but then again it all depends on how much I can get for my car.

the door stickers on supras when they came out, showed that the turbo supra actually got better gas mileage than the NA.. which i guess could be true, if you drive like a dead gramma.

Hey, I just bought a K&N filter and adapter for my 89 turbo off ebay. After I paid for it I realised that I might not have been for turbo model, does it really matter? The person who sold it to me on Ebay says it fits N/A, but I was just wondering what you guys think. Can i addapt it, or will it just fit? Any one done this?

Thanks.

Darin

NA and turbo have different AFMs, so the adapter wont work, but you can still use the filter.

accordian

I got the part, and finally going to replace that accordian hose that's beginning to develop a crack. Also, I put in an order for the K&N FIPK.

Is there any noticable throttle response difference after installing that kit?

I just used whatever washers I could find at home depot, worked fine. Had to use some longer bolts though (had some lying around from when I did my diff swap in my miata, they were perfect size and length).

A ball+spring MBC is a better solution though, and can be had for < $20.

Do you have a dp + exhaust yet?
