questions... First of all, my shifter is kinda lose, nashman knows about that, just wondering what to do to fix it? And how could I fix my trunk so it doesn't rattle? |
it might not be the trunk rattling, do you still have the rear carpet and that flat wooden piece ontop of the spare tire well in the rear of your car? that tends to wobble around and make alot of noise if it is the hatch, it could be the rubber stops are worn out, slapping a little silicone on those should fix that, or you could get new ones from toyota. as for your shifter, you could wrap some teflon tape around the threads then put it back on, im not really sure tho, what do you mean by it being "loose"? |
bah, got halfway done the springs today, takin them to brislands on monday to get chopped... thanks again ryan for the help! the shifter could be the gaskets and stuff. SOGI has a good writeup on the short shift mod and on how to replace the shifter bushing and such, it makes a world of difference. if its just the shift knob, toss it, get an aftermarket one. a nice TRD knob, or Momo. mines a big chrome ball, i love it :) |
eh what he means i the green truck shifter gasket and the littel ball nub thing i fix that for you next time you catch me online and stuff or give me call or some thing what can i say i help peolpe for small charge of drinking all your beer hehehe but yae just give me jingle or catch me online |

hah I have no problems givin beer in trade for work! But I need to learn to! Soooo...might as well be watching and learning. I'll have a look at that movie at school...hah..I don't got fast internet...and that spoiler...looks a little to large for my likings. I like the stock one! :D |
