took me an hour to replace 2 hoses.... make sure you have the right size ones, as well as some new worm gear clamps.

yank out the bezel, its a pain in the ass to do and you'll risk breaking your speedo cable when you put it back in... just keep an eye on keeping everything lined up. i guess if you wanted it unhooked for just a short period you could detach the bezel and just let it hang out enough so that the speedo cable doesnt make contact
in order to do so, you'll have to yank most of the cosmetic dash shit off... and it'll end up looking something like this |

you could just roll it back, after 2 weeks, altho im not sure how to do this, even with a bezel right out of the car the gears for odometers dont like going backwards. ryans done it before, his car only shows like 140k when its actually like 3 billion |

yes you can rool it back but you have to go slow but really it is not worth it i did mine about 1000 took for ever my car is at 315 well the shell
as for disconnecting it that easy as pie
just pop the cluster out any one can do it as shown above
this si how you do it wiht out breaking any thing
there will be green cup aka the speed cable
what you do is un clip it from the dash it self by poping it ouit
then take tape and cover the speedo spine so no dirt get's in there same wiht the dash part but don't take that gears out or you will get bad speedo gitter
then pop it back on make sure all the wireing clips int he back don't get in the way and pop her in
as for reinstal it can be pain to line it up i cna do it in secounds now befro it took me a good 5 mins to aline it and stuff
or even easyer way is to jack up the car wiht my jack look o the trans it self and find the speedo cable and just looen it and it will not work no more that way is the easist and the fastest
call me tomorow if you have any prob's
