worth a shot, anything to give the interior a bit more of new style look. im really suprised at how lame the interiors of the mk3s look for the years. no updates whatsoever from 86 on.. wtf?

A vacuum cleaner and some future shop gift cards. We don't get big presents in my family, so I can't really ask for car parts. I don't really want anything this year really either. I was gonna ask for canned goods so I could donate them, thought it would be a nice idea - but my present was already bought. I'm just hoping for a job after new years so I can start buying stuff for the supra.

well that was fun.. i was siphoning gas out of my moms car, and the tube got caught on something.. next thing i know it was rock solid stuck in there, not even me and my buddy could yank it out between us

after poking around with a coathanger, screwdrivers and other random things i could stuff in there to try and wiggle it around a bit, we had pretty much given up and just yannked on it as hard as we could which broke the hose off in the tank, its still stuck so it wont move..

i guess some cars have a fish-hook type thing in the gas-tank to see if someones been trying to siphone gas out of the tank, so maybe the 240 does, altho ive sucked gas out of there before without problems.. weird.

that happened to me when I siphoned the gas outta my supra. I dropped the tank to see what kind of shape it was in, and clean it out. The hose got stuck, I can't even remember how we got it out. But it was a pain in the ass I remember. It just got caught on something, one of the fins in the tank I think. I can't remember exactly what we did though to get it out. Looks like you will h ave to drop the tank though if you broke a peice off.
Or just leave it and don't tell her..... lol.

Hey - What are you guys doing for New Years?
I just got off the phone with my buddy from Vic. He's going back up to Port McNeill for Christmas as well, but coming back down for New Years. A couple other guys from back home wanna come down too, so if I can get them serious about actualyl doing something, maybe I'll be hitching a ride down to Vic for New Years then back to McNeill the next day, or more likely the day after that so we can recover.
Anyhoo, just a heads up that I might be in Victoria for New Years, my buddy has a few (3) different parties lined up so maybe I can get to meet some of ya? Won't be a car based meeting, but it'd still be cool to see/meet/party with any of you guys.
I'll post again when the details are worked out.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Yaaay!
I got the new rear bumper put on today!! They did a pretty damned good job of matching the color - but I've only seen it in the dark so far. I'll take a pic when its lighter out.
