lol it just there so far away from the gas stions so they have ot get cars that are good on gas

Enraged 01-27-2004 10:38 PM

laugh all you want at my sprint, but i just went 240 km for $9 and change.

Paradox 01-27-2004 10:48 PM

and i went 2kilometers with 9 bux in the supra

well worth it.

jk... i need a daily driver so bad :(

NashMan 01-28-2004 12:12 AM

baaa fuck it when you drive the supra there is nothign to play wiht but when you are in some other car there is some thign funt6o lay wiht only when yu don't have you car that si wiht me i guesss ps i am drunk

Paradox 01-28-2004 01:06 AM

wtf ryan?

i can gain some massive mileage thanks to my v1 meter. woot woot

Enraged 01-28-2004 05:25 PM

buy a beater, they are great!

either buy a sub-$500 car, or an over-$5000 car, becuase in between $500-$5000 is alot of crap.... buy your moms 240!

Paradox 01-28-2004 06:09 PM

i dont get how 500-5000 is complete crap, but yeah.. a beater is needed, im not sure i can afford to drive the supra all the time anymore, specially when my insurance is going to be like 10x as much :(

Enraged 01-28-2004 10:01 PM

my theory is basically if a car is sub$500, you know exactly what your getting. from $500-$5000, its risky, becuase people will do cheap fixes to sell the car for a few more bux, and in Victoria, they usually ask way more than the car is worth....

ya, sucks about your insurance. did you have a discount before? right now, i have 35%, if i get into an accident, it will drop down to a 5% discount i think... once your a Road Star level 3 or something, you can get into 2 accidents at 100% your fault and you can still have a small discount left... its nuts....

on another note, my electric exhaust cutout arrived today. pretty cool, not much use for it right now though...

Paradox 01-28-2004 10:06 PM

i still want to trade exhausts, once i have a license.

and well, i had a total discount before, 6 years worth. i think at 5 years you loose that new drivers percentage shit.

i never claimed my car to ICBC tho, not that it really matters, not much damage and i plan to swap the bumper anyways. but the insurance company will see what happened and charge me up the ass for sure. bah.

Slate 85GTS 01-28-2004 10:11 PM

ICBC sucks, right now im paying a 55% surcharge. One more year of accident free driving and im back to the 0% baserate though. I just hate paying so much for insurance though.

WTF is up with parksville and sprints?!?!

swear to god everyone second person owns one.

Enraged 01-28-2004 10:37 PM

well if you didnt claim it, it shouldnt be a problem....

whenever you want to swap exhaust, let me know... gotta fix the car, build the DP, install the cutout.... save for a clutch....

Paradox 01-28-2004 10:39 PM

well neither of our cars have insurance. haha

i plan to insure mine a bit early i figure, get friends to drive it a bit and have it run down to do some tranny work again (just a check to make sure everythings in order) and then have my steering aligned. etc

but yeah, sometime in march perhaps we could swap if thats cool.

Enraged 01-28-2004 10:47 PM

whenever, supras off the road until march 28th at least, maybe longer. the sprint is probably goin to stay insured year round, and just insure the supra for june, july, aug, and maybe sept if i have the $$.

NashMan 01-29-2004 01:15 AM

all never under stand this cut out thing it don't do jack excetp sound like ass and make the insaid of you car smell like exhuast in the cabin

but what do i know

oh yae cut out are not aloud by law even if you just use it fro track day's

buddie got safty about 1 mouth ago and had to get his removed
he has an chevy cormro ss 4 inc cut put for hsi headers so he chould loose his turq for when he draged

NashMan 01-29-2004 01:18 AM

oh yae i may be changeing my exhuast soon to 3.5 inc half way back maby 4 inc

so 3 inc to 3.5 or 4 then to the n1 that has 3 inc inlet and in side of 4 inc so it will be pretty cool if i change it

ps this is not for power just sound power will not change in any way

Paradox 01-29-2004 03:34 AM

type slowely...... so we can understand.....

Slate 85GTS 01-29-2004 07:43 AM

Nashman, why would you want to change your exhaust to 4", thats huge! Might make it sound cool but is it even going to fit underneath the car without bottoming?

NashMan 01-29-2004 09:28 AM

yae it whould fit it sound cool thou but i weighting on vid chip from a buddie of mine who has 4 inc exhuast wiht an n1 so i see if i liek it

again it just sound thing it suppost to be liek low as hell

Slate 85GTS 01-29-2004 09:38 AM

Ya ive gotta admit i love deep, low toned sounding cars... well let me know if you go thru with it, id like to hear it.

NashMan 01-29-2004 10:06 AM

we will see the funny part is i will most likly ending up doing it to be diffent

Enraged 01-29-2004 10:56 AM

since im going with a smaller exhaust (2.5") and might be putting the cat back in, ill need a cutout to get more power...

and anything over 3" is a waste of money IMHO... but you know that there wont be performance gains, so thats good. at least you dont think it will net you more power....

if you want to be different, build dual exhausts haha

Haha ive seriously thought about that! Im going to be building my own exhaust system at work so ive thought about doing duals just for kicks. I havent really decided either way though?

Enraged 01-29-2004 03:07 PM

dont, you'll be passing the piping under the gas tank... which i personally dont think is smart...

also, its an inline 6, no point in having it aside from looks, therefore rice IMHO....
