Im with you on that one YBOT

Enraged 01-29-2004 03:20 PM

so tell your boy not to build dual under teh gas tank of that 626 :)

Enraged 01-29-2004 03:23 PM

on another note, im at school right now, waitin for the bus... and i need a drink.. *sigh*

Slate 85GTS 01-29-2004 03:24 PM

haha not necessarily, i mean i havent actually been under an MK3 supra yet but when i thought about it i figured i could run two pipes side by side right to the back of the car in the stock location and then run one of the pipes parellel to the rear bumper under the car so that it goes from one side to the other right at the back. But then you run into mounting your muff. Haha, oh well it was basically just a fun thought. But it would be cool.

Enraged 01-29-2004 03:28 PM

alot of extra piping, the cost of a second muffler, no performance gain. pure and simple rice, just like dual exhausts on a god damn CRX.

Paradox 01-29-2004 03:32 PM

doesnt lamarossa have dual exhaust on his?

that'd be enough reason not to do it right there :p

Ew, no. I agree with Enraged about the inline thing. Shoulda bought a Z you Toyota-whore. :P

Enraged 01-29-2004 04:17 PM

yup... i wish someone would burn that car to the ground...

Slate 85GTS 01-29-2004 04:28 PM

ok people, it was just a thought, no need to freak out :p

Enraged 01-29-2004 05:34 PM

no freakin out... besides, a nice 3" exhaust with a decent muffler will sound good and flow just fine...

legally blonde 01-29-2004 06:00 PM

come on YBOT you know my boy you cant tell him anythign he dont want to hear ... haha :P

I know, i am going to just do single 3" exhaust anyways. Ive got all the crap to do it at work. Now its just a matter of getting the car here, getting it running, then starting the fun stuff :D

Enraged 01-29-2004 07:26 PM

Hmmmm, stainless would be nice?? lol awful expensive though

Paradox 01-29-2004 09:42 PM

my downpipe is stainless..... looks so yummy... err it used to

Slate 85GTS 01-29-2004 09:53 PM

Ya i might make my downpipe stainless, that is affordable, but the whole system would be crazy expensive. Mind you i saw some guy that came into work and bought a stainless dual system for his 5.0 mustang that we put on for him, i think it was about 3000 bucks he said, all bolt on though from flowmaster i think?

NashMan 01-30-2004 01:01 AM

hello all

boy i had a fun day today it was under hell

i had to make room for the lager pipeing so i had to chop some of the power streeing pump bracket, but the kicker is i ha dor realoagte the pump form one sideof the powerstrign pump but i had to saw off the resvore case it waas connected ot the pump it selfs and rewleded it on the other sid eof the pump meal recvoer atacked to each other we got new hose hose and stuff as well i had weld in braket it kinda kick it sweet shit and the down pipe it to drool for all nice free flow bends to stright pie .

the down pipe is 2.5 and then it has nice flex in it then a flange to 3 inc pipeing then to raven muffler form midas , eh not my choise thou i whould have whent with flow master to tip i will make for it if chris lets me he want to go for the sleep look but his car will be loud but a nice loud if the muffer does not sound like shit

bust alot has beand doone down pipe is all cut ot shape and tacked and the exhuast will be runing under the gas tank ,,,don't worry his gas tank is mealt so nothing will happend plus his gas tank is just befor the front of his rear wheel so it ok to run there

any reson why you should not run under the tank is it's plastic or platice coded to meatle like supra and some other cars as well

any ways i goig ot bed got alot fo work to do tommrow to try to make it at julies and meet her panets at 5

ps we zap straped a litte stuff aniaml to his grill he look like's his seat belted in and stuff looks sweet anways chow

Enraged 01-30-2004 11:35 AM

haha sounds cool, you should get some pics, we can make you a website!

*listening to Pumpkins: Machina of Hate, the last good album i bought before "new" music turned to utter garbage.*

NashMan 01-30-2004 01:38 PM

well i got pics of the down pipeand the custom braket and and power streeing pump relocato to one otehr side of the pump it self. i will post em when i get em off my bro

but it turbo out pretty dame good the felex we are useing does not like the mig much even on it losest setting cause the flex steel is alot thiner thenthe piping it self so it can be pain to weld some time 's

any wya back tot eh car

Paradox 01-30-2004 06:45 PM

ryan, what did you do to get your car started again before, after christmas when it wouldnt turn over??

i just tried my car, and either the batteries dead or something else is wrong. the starters not even turning, yet my stereo works and alarm is still funtioning properly

ahh and ive found way more rat evidence.. fuck

Enraged 01-30-2004 07:54 PM

loose connection in the starter?

Paradox 01-30-2004 08:00 PM

yeah, gonna check that after i attempt to jump start it

Enraged 01-30-2004 08:12 PM

well if your radio and alarm turn on, its not the battery....

Paradox 01-30-2004 08:35 PM

i dunno, last time my battery died, i could still run my stereo..

but then again last time i had a crappy ground on the coil packs

islandsupra 01-30-2004 09:51 PM

My car died over Christmas too. I tried jumping it, but it didn't work because the batttery was too drained.
I charged for a couple hours, then tried again. The stereo and lights worked, but the car wouldn't start, wouldn't even crank. I charged it overnight and it was fine after that. If you have access to a charger I'd suggest just charging it overnight to see what happens.
Hopefully it's just something simple like that! I'd check connections to the starter itself too. Hope you get it all figured out!
