damn, thats one hell of a jump, was it a perfect landing? might be worth bonus points...

well i installed S-AFC today, it was a pain in the ass to install, but its in and functional, now ive just gotta tune the thing, guess i cant get a really good setup without a dyno, but i figure i can get close enough through trial and error.

i think im gonna make a quick website on how to install one of these into a MK3 supra, too, since i couldnt find any good websites explaining the installation.

the Apexi instructions that come with it are 3 books -- all in japanese, and the online documentation is a mess, doesnt really explain much except gives a semi-decent wiring diagram (which makes all the ECU plugs look upside down).

it actually fits in there pretty snug, im sure if i started cutting away some of the excess i could get the front of the AFC plush, i dunno if im ready to start cutting up my dash just yet.

its a funky little unit, is displays intake manifold vacuum/boost Pressure, air flow capacity, intake manifold pressure, karman frequency, engine RPM, throttle Position, and air Flow correction %

right now i dont have the AFC set or tuned to change anything, it does auto correct airflow to a certain extent which is making the car feel like it has more low end power, i punched it off the line earlier and did a bit of a burn-out/drift...

i figure i should be able to tune it down a lot tho, i be running rich!

that defon based pipe should be crazy stuff, if you look on the suprasport page for the turbo elbow extension you can see the difference in size, should make for much faster spool up and less restriction.

id get one, but to tell you the truth im finishing spending money on engine mods, after my turbo and boost controller gets here, im done. im gonna be pushing more power than what the rest of the car can handle, if i keep modding (hehe as if i'd stop.. goddamn supra!) it'll be suspension and interior stuff.

just talked to mechanic today about getting in some steel braided brake lines and ST sway bars too

hmm... what about having them both pop out of the dash liek the new Lexus models have for the nav screen? hehe lots of work, but it would be cool.

hey paradox, what kind of lag will your new turbo have?

yeah that would be sweet to have em fold out and up, have two displays right there, hehehe, prolly be expensive to do it nicely tho

as for new turbo lag, it shouldnt be as bad as a t3/t4 hybrid or other similar turbos.. thats what ive heard, atleast.

it will however be a hell of a lot more fun than my burned out CT26 with 130,000k on it i just hope i dont kill myself, hehe at 15psi and up that thing could make some serious power

knowing him, he mounted a coffee can as an exhaust tip, and probably some "Powered by Honda" stickers for some extra kick at high RPMs.

i think its safe to say you guys got me beat in the stereo department..

Nashman has more suspension stuff, all i got for suspension mods is cusco strut bar and H&R springs

as for engine/power mods, id say im at the top... i dont know of any others around here with the lex afm/550cc injectors + MKIV TT fuel pump mod.

as i said before, after i get my turbo and maybe a AFPR im done engine stuff... thats more than enough power for me!
