Check for vaccuum leaks first, you can usually hear a vaccuum leak if its that bad, but if not then you can always use acetylene or propane or anything for that matter, even brake cleans works if you spray it around. All you want to do is spray or bleed this stuff around the engine around vaccuum lines and suspicious areas and see if your engine rpms come up at all... even if you have to have someone hold the throttle open a tiny bit so it will idle, the rpm will still increase when its enriched with the gas or solution you are spraying around. That should pinpoint it fairly well. If no vaccuum leaks are found then i would check and adjust your TPS. These both cost you nothing but time and are the more likely causing of rough or no idling.

yeah, we use it at work quite often, because we have a little portable propane tank, its easier than dragging the oxy/acet torches over. We often use it to check if a MAF sensor is out to lunch by giving it a sniff of propane. Its fine as long as your careful with it, it only takes a little bit as with the acetylene as well.

meh finding a vac leak is easy just use teh back of you hand just slip you hands down the cav line that usly does the trick and if you can feel it then that si nto a big prob

I dont actually know what you would want to call it lol, its like a greyish brown, definately more brown kinda metallic. Its hard to explain. Apparently the color grows on you, so im gonna give it a chance anyways. But ya we should get together sometime, you can check out the car, havent seen you in awhile, would be cool.
