I think the optimas are a little bit shorter and a little wider than the normal battery. There are different versions of the yellow tops, and they are different sizes, I think the smallest one is
9x9x5 for the 40 amp one. and a little longer like 12 or 13 x 7 x 10 for the bigger 75 amp one.
I had the dimensions once... but decided to just stick with an Interstate for now.

oops, I think those dimesions might be for the redtop. Why do you want a yellowtop, aren't they for deepcylce? The redtops are for cranking amps.

I see. Well.... from what I was told, yellow tops are more for deep cycle and red top is for more cold cranking amps.
I think you get 750 cold cranking amps with the yellow top, and 800 with the red top.
The yellow top had way better amp hours, so if you plan to leave all your accessories on for long amounts of time without the car running, then I guess yellow top would be better
I don't really know for a fact, it's just what I have been told.

apparently that was without spraying. I guess he was going for 550, and hit 575, so he turned up the boost 2psi and hit the 600 mark, and then called it a day. There's a whole writeup and video on SF. I'd love to see that thing

its possible to maybe see a v8 version in the works, but i doubt it. since toyota has even ditched the celica now. they arent exactly aiming to the sports/exotic car market anymore.... now its all hybrids and SUV's and whatever the hell brings in the most money..
damn you, toyota!

holy, I just had to bring this back - it was almost on page2.
In other news... some assholes tried to break my window and scratched the hell outta my mirror and there's a big crack in the top and dented my window trim. Good thing it wasn't any large body parts, but i'm still kinda pissed off none the less. Those bastards are lucky I don't know who did it!! They smashed my roommate's window too
