not trying to push start it man... just trying to push it in a high gear to get the engine to turn a little, trying to see if it's frozen or not like how you roll forward a bit when you park on a hill.
Pushing it in first would be impossible!!

I'm not so sure about the starter being dead... it still spins fine - but only after I try and push my car. THe starter won't turn if the engine won't turn, right? I'm not sure... I'm just going by what I think makes sense, and people tell me.
I've tried to check everything I can think of to check, and is simple enough for me to do, and do with just the tools that I have. I still didn't get a hold of a spare battery... although it's weird that my car would die, and the battery would die at the same time - I am going to try it anyways, just because I know my battery was not 100%.
Who knows.. hopefully I'll get it figured out soon. I'm stranded down here until I do!! It's the first time I've ever gone out to my car and hoped that was I was checking IS broken though, kinda funny

So... how 'bout them teflon wiper blades?
You got your car back on the road man?? I'd love to see that thing sometime!

I got wiperblades from Crappy Tire, they said it was the best ones they had, with the purple package and they were teflon. Those things suck!

yeah. I think I got my rad cap from Lordco... it works just fine. Go return it, and smack the guy in the face.

And yaeh Ryan, I think it might be my starter or battery or alternator again. It seemed to work fine... but I just went out again and turned everything on, on full blast, and honked the horn. It dims a bit. So I guess I'll recheck all of that stuff tomorrow. I can't get a hold of my landlord with the battery, and don't have a charger. But hopefully he'll be around tomorrow.

If it ends up just being the battery, I am going to punch myself in the mouth. Hard too... I'm gonna draw blood.
On second thought... maybe I hope it's not my bettery!

don't go punching yourself... find a "punch buddy" they make the pain go away at half the cost. (unless they hit back....... :P)

get an alignment, im getting one with the eibachs once the cars back on the road. its like $85, well worth the $$. SOGI has some specs listed that are supposed to be the best balance between handling and tire wear.

well, my engine is officially dead now.
Can't turn the crank pulley bolt, I was lifting myself off the ground even, and I am a fat bastard. Wouldn't move an inch.

Still very curious to start tearing into the engine and see what happened. It's pretty strange. I pulled the pipes off to take a look at the turbo too, and make sure it wasn't frozen. It's still good. But another strange thing is that there was oil in it now... there wasn't last weekend. I wanna see what went wrong!

So if anyone sees a decent deal on a used engine, if you could let me know I'd appreciate it. It'll probably be a long time now until the supra sees any more miles

Yep... I'll get to the heart of the problem some time. Unfortunately as much as I would like to get it fixed right away, it's going to cost money, and right now it's not at the top of my priority list.
But if I can get it back home some how, it will get taken apart if I get any time at all this summer, and it will be fixed or replaced.

Anyone want cheap sway bars? http://www.supramania.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8101

CDN$275 + tax + shipping. the guy organizing it is freinds with Duane, shipping would be around $20-30... so looks like my suspension is pretty much done for the moment haha
