get an alignment this time haha

i dont know why you had trouble finding gaskets, i got 2 for about $4 from B&B Auto, they had them in stock in town.

Paradox 07-19-2004 09:21 PM

i did get alignment.. sadly i still have negative camber because the front of my car sits too low, it just cant be pushed any more positive

i ended up finding a 3" gasket at sidney brake and tire or whatever its called on 5th street, was probably for a diesel truck or something tho. ended up having to chop the thing up. most 3" is 3 bolt instead of 2

Enraged 07-19-2004 10:20 PM

im having a hell of a time finding stainless 3" 3 bolt flanges... everyone wants $40+ for them...

Paradox 07-20-2004 09:39 PM

islandsupra 07-20-2004 10:28 PM

Bob, what the fuck??? (unless you are thinking about a gixxer again, ahaha)
Don't sell it for less than what buddy before was going to offer you!
I'll talk to you more about this tomorrow :S

Paradox 07-20-2004 10:56 PM

did ruebens car go boom?

..... thats what i heard.

Matt6003 07-20-2004 10:59 PM

Murray you said i should look at an rx 7, what do you think about a 91?

Matt6003 07-20-2004 11:07 PM

I know im playin with fire mentioning that in the Supra thread, but i would much rather own an mk 3 than an rx 7

How much are you looking to spend on an mkiii supra?

Matt6003 07-20-2004 11:11 PM

i can spend up to 6,000

Paradox 07-20-2004 11:12 PM

Rx7's are great fun too, i used to own one. loved it to bits til the engine exploded as most rotaries will in time.

if you do look at Rx7's only get a rebuild one, err now that i think about it, i know a guy in vancouver selling a pretty sweet ass 85 Rx7 GSL-SE, not nearly as much potential as a supra, but its clean, modded and rebuilt. ofcourse it is old so it will need some restoration, the owner has done most of the drivetrain repair but it does need some diff. work... not really sure what generation of Rx7 you're interested in, but heres one to peak at. i know he needs to get it off his property ASAP to make room for a R32 skyline hes buying..

if you have more cash id go to something newer, and preferably made by toyota, tho :D

Matt6003 07-20-2004 11:20 PM

Just never had the time to check anything out really - fucker died on me when I was trying to move back up island to start work.

But Bob is picking it up today for me :) We'll know exactly what is wrong sometime in the near future, hopefully it's not too too major - or else the supra is gonna be parked for a while... again.
