Enraged 07-24-2004 03:03 PM

ya, i dont know what it is, and the wire leading to it has been cut...

Paradox 07-24-2004 06:42 PM

thanks toby for letting me check out your car. easier to make sense of that kind of thing when i can see it up close, or in actual photographs, instead of the crappy diagrams in the TSRM or haynes manual (which i seem to have lost during renovations... :(
)

whew, lowered my fuel pressure a bit and did a bit more tuning later today, hopefully that detonation under boost was just from that and the heat. today is really the only time ive noticed it, i also had the AFPR at like 43psi by accident :lol

i got somewhat camera happy later on, too.. here's one pic

NashMan 07-24-2004 09:00 PM

Paradox 07-24-2004 10:28 PM

solid bushings sound..... interesting haha, how much do you think kenny could make those up for?

Enraged 07-25-2004 12:32 AM

for the entire car? NOT cheap ha

ryan, that thing is on the drivers side, you think its a grounding point? there is another engine > battery ground lower down...

Matt6003 07-25-2004 12:42 AM

Murray do you have a front plate on your car?

Paradox 07-25-2004 01:09 AM

toby, ryan thinks its for monitoring oil temps. however he didnt say they were for gauges or the ECU, which leaves me baffled or him talking shit. your choice..

matt, i am such a paranoid freak as to not getting pulled over i actually removed my plate at my house, and put it back on at that exact same spot on the road just so i wouldnt ended up getting a stinkin' fine for something that is so redundant.... haha

Matt6003 07-25-2004 08:25 AM

yeah i got a warning twice for not having a front plate, managed to go a year without replacing it, but i sold the car to my mom now so i dont have to worry about it anymore
