Ok, well hopefully that's whats getting done, but since the cars not on the island i dont have alot of control over whats going on

Paradox 09-11-2004 12:52 AM

just find a shop near where the car is, see if they can get you in for a check up, its well worth it, if you plan on buying the car. atleast it'll give you perspective on what you need to fix

what shop do you work at bob?

Paradox 09-11-2004 12:53 AM

btw. what happened to that parts car? i might need a tranny soon, to do a 5spd swap. my third might be slipping, i think i may take it to the tranny shop and bitch til they fix the problem or just go 5spd...

cars going off the road for winter soon anyways.

islandsupra 09-11-2004 11:02 AM

The tranny from the blue car was promised to a friend before I even went and bought it ... sorry.

Enraged 09-11-2004 03:27 PM

matt, there is a red 89+ at the dealership by the big chinatown entrance in victoria. i didnt have time to look at it, but the paint looked really nice. i think it was grey interior, and it had a wing, so it was probably turbo...

islandsupra 09-14-2004 08:30 PM

900 bucks??! ouch...
damn man, I am selling that tranny for 275 with all the crap needed to swap over.

There HAS to be better deals out there!!

Paradox 09-14-2004 10:29 PM

hence why you should have sold that tranny to me :)

islandsupra 09-14-2004 10:50 PM

If I could I would... but I owed Allan a favour for finding me all the deals he has. I told him like a year ago if I ever found a tranny I'd let him know.
But if I ever see another one - I'll let you know ;)

Oh, Matt 6003, check out this link if you are goign to vancouver it might be worth checking out
http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...hreadid=223597

Also, if there's body/interior parts that are bad on it, I have a blue on blue car just sitting here waiting for people to get parts from before it goes to the wrecker.

Matt6003 09-14-2004 10:51 PM

thanks, the body is in great shape, but i'll take a better look at the interior and get back to you if i need anything

Paradox 09-14-2004 11:08 PM

Enraged 09-14-2004 11:44 PM
