Hey,
Yeah, they're 4" speakers. They're a bit deeper than the stock ones though so it was kind of a pain getting them into the doors. I had to bend the "mounting ears" to get them to fit. I'll tackle the rear speakers tomorrow.

As to the car's condition, well its finally insured and back on the road. My back tires suck though, one of them has a not-so-slow leak and the other one's totally bald on the inside (from the junk yard). I'll hopefully get new ones next paycheck.
Also, I have to find time to get under the car again and tighten all the bolts that I played with before I'll trust it on the highway. Its had a week or two to settle and I'm sure some of them are pretty much ready to fall off

Enraged:
Your paint is better than mine! My passenger side rear quarter panel is completely covered in gray primer. It looks just like my paint, except dull, but it still pisses me off that when I bought it they told me the paint had just "faded from the sun".

I'll definately come up to the next mini meet. I work on thurs so I can't make the auto-x tho

Enraged:
I work from 5:00pm-1:00am (closing shift @ the theatre)
I also wanna get those tires and do a bit more maintenance before I subject my poor baby to any abuse like that!

Nashman:
Yeah I still have the old crossmember. What do you want off it? rotors, calipers, pads, brake lines, e-brake lines?

Yeah u can drive my NA, its an auto. I don't think you'll be too impressed, its definately in need of a little TLC. When I finish paying off my credit cards I'll start restoring it and fixing the little things. My cam covers are leaking, I could use a tune up, and my muffler is rotting out from the inside so it makes a terrible noise between 80-90km/h

As to driving your 5spd.... I don't wanna wreck your clutch! lol

Hey,
Nashman I've got all the stuff just sitting in the garage. The rotors are getting a little bit of surface rust on them, but it'll come off the first time you use your brakes. The pads should be fine, there was no squeeking or anything when I had them. All the cables are in good condition.

Enraged, I might do the NA-T swap sometime in the future, but probably not until after I get a new paint job and restore the interior. I'll probably have worn out the 7MGE by then anyway. I'd be happy for any help you guys could give me though. If I can find a cheap JDM turbo engine I'd slowly build it up and then drop it in once it already had a MHG, an upgraded CT26 and all the supporting mods.

What kind of mods did you do to your NA, nashman? Once I fix my leaking cam covers I was going to increase my timing, re-torque my head bolts, get a K&N, and maybe do the free CAI mod at the same time. I'll need to get an exhaust pretty soon too.

well bump timing is one of them

run 92 octain

afm flapper ajustment

puch out cats or just run stright pipe biger power increas

2.5 exhuast

flowmaster muffler 2.5

turlen in your gas tried it befor big power

get rid of that air muffler and run civic pipe air intake

bosh p4 tiped plugs good for na's not that great for turbos

and the list goes on i can get into like eninge stuff

oh yae you did not say if you had the e brake cable if you kno what i mean you know for the hand brake connects and goes down tot he rear parking brake

Hey, yeah the e-brake cables are there. sorry, must've forgot to mention that in my post.

What do you have to do for the AFM mod? And what's the air muffler - the intake resonator? If so isn't that neaded for the AFM to work properly? Also I thought you lose low end power on an NA if you free up the exhaust too much.

well you afm had spring tenstion flapper you just loosen it up so you run richer and no you don't need the air resnator at all caues once you put k$n filter(drop in only) on ti still caues terbulace ect so it is not need plus it ugly

as for exhuast just punch the cats out and run 2.5 or 2.25 2.5 is what i had gave me more zip onthe highway and weh i was runing rich and 92 octian and stuff it ran great

punch cats 2.5 cat back whith free flowing muffler

one other thing to add is get oil catch can they do wounders

oh and the reson why i said the drop in only is cause you dont need the shineing fliter at all caue sit is not need in turbo maybe

runing header don't even bother does nothing

all so upgradeing th eig system will incress power caue shte nas ig system was not that great but works fine

alls so one other thing you can do to you na is add a turbo

get the manfold/ turbo /down pipe/atmospearick bov/ boost mbc or ebc and some small thing and push 4 psi and you will eat supra turbo alive

any way if we meet i can tell you some stuff and i very intrested in takeing thous parts off your hand

i was thining on doing that as well

i'll have MORE boost hopefully tommorow!

woohaww

i figure with spearco I/C i should be able to go higher than 12psi on the CT26

new o2 sensor tommorow too.. good thing, too. i think my cars getting like 5mpg right now, i guess when the o2 sensor dies it just runs super rich.

i think im screwed for the dual pillar pod tho suprasport isnt ordering ANY more.... so umm im most likely going to be credited for the value of that, or just have it put back on the CC. who knows

so theres no MBC in your future, Enraged?

ummm humm the stock ct 26 on 12 pounds humm that will do not much reson being

any were from stock to 10 psi you will note power improvment after 10 psi 2 pounds is nothing but hot air caues the ct 26 is can't push air any more air in less you have a bigger wheel

sure it will push 12 pounds but it it does really nothing caues of the trim size ect and plus you will be over load the poor littel thing

staying at 10 psi is fine 2 extra pounds i don't think it will do much as for power ( but you can try it any ways )

and what do you mean by exhuast piping toby

the Ct-26 doesnt start running out of steam until 15 psi... is been proven several times over... 12 psi is what most people stop at becuase that is where fuel cut is. if you want to get around fuel cut, you'll need 550s and a lexus afm or a VPC.

as for the mbc, im goin to keep lookin. for the options out there, ebc arent worth it unless i want to spend $1000....

filter is on its way..... sweeeet....

yeah.. even Reg Riemer said the CT26 really starts to pickup around 12psi

as for wearing mine out anymore or damaging it, no big problem as long as i see my Greddy 20G sometime in the next decade..... hah.

Fuzebox, Yeah im gonna try a direct order thru LoTek aswell. let me know how soon you get it at your door.
