Toby, Allan is bringing them over with him. He's coming tomorrow (monday) sometime. I probably won't hook up with him until like thursday or something, I have labs every night mon, tues, wed. But I think he's staying in Duncan... maybe someone can rip up there and grab them. Or actually he might even be going down that way. I'm not sure.... but if you guys don't end up getting them, I'll probably come down to Vic again sometime in the near future. WE'll figure something out! |

so far i've found 2 problems with my car, minor, but they bug me: -power steering fluid is leaking from somewhere -left headlight not going down when i turn off the car (is the power steering fluid container the little one at the back?? its the only one on my car that's not marked) |
hey murray, if ya wanna digicam something, digicam my supra, i'll be at work wed-sat if u wanna stop by at some point and check it out |

the power steering resevoir is on the passenger side, near your air intake, its the gold'ish looking metal container that says "TOYODA" on the cap. where is your PS leaking? |
i guess its down below the reservoir, its a little bit underneath the air intake, i just spotted it on one of the hoses, so i dont know exactly where yet |
damn supras |
all supra have leaking power streeing it leaks most likly form your pump that is most likly dead or you high persure line any ways try lucas aft stuff power streeing fix work's great |
Or you could put on a new high pressure line and have no leaks like me! :D |
Those lines are worth a freaking fortune! I don't think my PS leaks either, I've never had to add any fluid :P Well... the supe still idles like shit. I never really checked anything though. It's not idling QUITE so low now. Like it doesn't almost stall anymore. But it's still not smooth and it still idles under 500 RPM sometimes. I guess I'll drive it a bit more and see what happens. It seems to be getting better already. I'm going to change the spark plugs and the fuel filter for the hell of it too as soon as I get some time. Anyone know how to properly set a TPS? Seems like pretty tricky business to get it exactly right. It's funny that this engine has exactly the same 2 codes as the other one did though. |
just got back from another drive, i had to add some PS fluid. I think i need a new hose for it. |
