Enraged 10-01-2004 12:57 PM

run stock boost (no boost controller) while your breaking in your engine, with the stock injectors, and i think it will be fine.

I just finished putting a new exhaust on my car. I have the stock turbo cat-back which is only about a year old.

Also have a custom 2.5" exhaust from the blue parts car. Both are useless to me.

EDIT : not to try and take any business away from Ryan, but I'm just not too sure if a 3" exhaust would provide enough backpressure for an N/A

i thought you wanted to run my old 2.5" with a cutout?

and 3" will work on a NA without a noticable power loss (theres a big thread on supraforums about this), but you'll gain nothing but noise.

islandsupra 10-01-2004 08:55 PM

Hey Murray, I might have found another 5spd tranny. Are you still searching for one?
I didn't ask the guy how much, but I gotta go back there some time.

Paradox 10-01-2004 11:13 PM

i am, but rather spend money on a beater for winter right now...

get a price for me anyways, just incase :)

Enraged 10-02-2004 09:15 AM

if someone wants it, ill sell it cheap, then build myself a new one. until then ill use it. the cars not a daily driver anymore, so the exhaust level isnt nearly as important as it used to be

Paradox 10-03-2004 12:15 AM

who needs a exhaust anyways.. open DP is the way to go :lol

Enraged 10-03-2004 01:42 AM

why do you think i have the electric cutout :)

Poor Nash Man ..... Cant keep any one updated on car progress because both of this computers have died .......

But progress on the car is going well... slow(wants everything perfect) ... but well.

Any way im sure he will get a new hard drive soon and will be back on ranting and raving about his progress :)

Till then that is the best i can update.

C-WRX 10-04-2004 11:59 AM

This is my sad sad toyota supra story, I found a 1997 Anniversary edition supra in vancouver... with targa top and twin turbo with the price of 39900 so i called and said i'm commin down to buy it, and i went to vancouver with 40g cash and i got to the dealership and they sold my supra the day before i got there, so i came back home and bought my wrx, but the supra still haunts me in my dreams, MAN I WISH I GOT ONE

Enraged 10-04-2004 01:21 PM

WRX are nice cars either way :) a good second choice

Paradox 10-05-2004 01:26 PM

i woulda waited for another MKIV to be up for sale.... but yeah, WRX's are pretty killer too. ;)

hey matt, was that you i saw earlier by mcdicks? i wasnt sure

Matt6003 10-05-2004 02:17 PM

yeah that was me, going for a healthy lunch, you woulda just missed another mk3, the one i was gonna buy before too. I swear that kid hates me now that i have a better supra than him

islandsupra 10-05-2004 04:41 PM

I forgot how much supras suck when it's wet out.

Paradox 10-06-2004 12:28 AM

my cars actually pretty good in the wet compared to past cars i've owned. i think its mostly due to tires tho, khumo 712's / BFG G-force's are both great summer & rain tires
