well, according to many knowledgable supra owners, using the NA filter mount is fine provided you use a thermostat to control oil flow to the oil cooler.

Oh, and Matt, don't worry bro - that's exactly where I was until about 2 months ago - except completey stock with a spun rod... no suspension, no intake.
So I can't really laugh, you are ahead of where I was for about 2 years. Hope you don't decide to sell the supra, I'd say it's the perfect chance to swap in a turbo motor!

keep it! it should last awhile like that if you be nice to it.
definetaly keep in mind how much money you'll lose if you sell it without a working engine. its just not worth it

and i cheaked on the oil pump na's have lower oil persure since they don't have cooler
so up it all you want i not i going to keep it stock just like toyota wants it to be
plus my cank oil hole have bean drilled a tiny bit bigger so that more then eghough for me
these are the bad things of rasie persure
chance of washing you baring's
burn more oil
vavle cover's will leak faster then befor stock turbo oil control is not ment to have that much pusre so they will blew easy
there to many if's for me to try it plus lost of peoepl told me not to and not just on supra's

Hey Murray,
There's pictures of my car at http://www3.telus.net/joseph99/supra/
Cool sigs... I've thought of trying to make one for myself, but never got around to it.
I guess I should make up a profile for the VIS website too. I'm just so damn lazy.... I'll look at all the sections and try to make something up. Feel free to use my pictures for something cool |
