Nobody else has their car on the road anymore right now, except for Murray I guess.

I'll be in Victoria this weekend.... then it's coming off the road for the winter and getting new goodies :)

they're either off the road, not stock, or not running (or not turbo'd if you're me)

naa dude i had one n/a cars are fun to drive

i whould love ot do up a na ass much as i chould one day

Matt6003 10-26-2004 09:37 PM

im not saying its not fun, but isnt my car the only stock one? so if the guy wants to go for a ride in a turbo'd MKIII, pretty much none of the ones you guys have are stock, assuming hes looking to buy one which is stock

NashMan 10-26-2004 09:38 PM

but make em have power is easy as pie

Veovius 10-26-2004 09:40 PM

oh well, I suppose I can settle for a ride in one that's not stock :p lol

N/A would be interesting too, I rode in Josh's, and got to drive it, even, but the clutch was really weird...

islandsupra 10-26-2004 09:53 PM

Mine is pretty much stock... all I have in an exhaust. But, probably runs like a stock one would because of my damn code 52.

Like I say... I'll be in Victoria this weekend as well :)

Veovius 10-26-2004 09:55 PM

ouch, what's a code 52?

oh and how long you gonna be down for? I doubt I'll be able to make timmys.....i'm working solid 8am-10pm friday then 8am on saturday :(

islandsupra 10-26-2004 11:13 PM

Ah, it's just knock sensor signal shorting out somewhere.

I'll be in Victoria probably saturday and sunday. I have to go paint my bumper probably on saturday during the day, then have haloween party to go to starting early evening.

Sunday I gotta go out to the ferries sometime just to go sell my old engine, then I think I am free for the rest of the day as far as I know. Probably will head back home early evening though.

But anyways, if you want - feel free to give me a call or whatever, and you can go for a rip. I'd be more than happy to convince you to buy a supra :)

Enraged 10-26-2004 11:50 PM

most of us are getting in the habit of parking for the winter... for me, gas is too much, wear and tear, etc. id rather keep it as a summer/weekend car and keep driving my sprint...

Paradox 10-27-2004 01:05 AM

well. lets hope my exhaust keeps holding now. haha, thanks for doing that ryan, i should have known it would be that simple.

i'd still like to figure out how to get another hanger on there, just for safetys sake.

Paradox 10-27-2004 01:12 AM

good god, i put 415k on the supra today, in ONE DAY

you can't that the sad part the echust is shaped kidna fucked up so it onte stay still it to close the rear sub frame

the only way you can fix it is what i did but use more of heavy duty clamp or just add in one more and it should be fine for a long time

NashMan 10-27-2004 09:47 PM

what comany makes brake rotors that is located in canada opntaio i think

i think they make the hawk pads and such

Enraged 10-27-2004 10:08 PM

i have powerslot rotors, they are pretty good. i wouldnt use drilled rotors for fear of cracking. i got my powerslots from lordco, im sure jas could give you a good price. if you want even better performance you can get rotors cryo-treated....

my CF lip was shipped today, hopefully ill get it by friday :)

lil wicks 10-27-2004 10:29 PM

does anyone know if a 7m-ge will fit in to a mk2

Enraged 10-27-2004 11:18 PM

the 5m and 7m are essentially the same.

lots of people do 7m-gte swaps into mk2s. since they are quite a bit lighter, they can be pretty fast with minor mods.

NashMan 10-28-2004 06:49 AM

all m blockoes have the same monting location so you cna put a m motor in any of the car that came wiht them

lil wicks 10-28-2004 11:59 AM

which drive shaft would i use

islandsupra 10-28-2004 01:50 PM

The guy that is buying my old motor off of me is putting it in a mk2. They have actually done it a few times I believe.

If you are serious, I can probably put you in contact with him.
