20G is a nice turbo, but would work a lot better on a 5spd car... and as for the "small" comment, the exhaust side is pretty much double the size of your upgraded CT, and will stay reliable for awhile, unlike the CT :p |
20G > CT upgrade |

ryan - how much $ do you want to put my engine back together? |
my supra is now wingless :) just waiting for the paint to dry on some parts and then it will be weatherproof. next up on the todo list is the trim and tails. i have to go to JB again, as the paint i got isnt a perfect match, so im taking the wing in so they can use thier camera on it. |
7MGTE question I don't have a Supra but am looking for a complete 7MGTE (USDM or JDM) with tranny, complete harness & ECU. Where can I find such a beast for around $1000-1500? I was thinking of checking out JK Japanese Engines in the lower mainland but would prefer local. PS: This will not be installed in an AE86. :p TIA! |
look in the buy&sell... last time I was looking there was a complete turbo car with body and interior damage for 750 bucks. Also, last time I was at south island imports they also had a mk3 there with a turbo motor complete except the rad and IC and someone had swiped the turbocharger. It had the r154 tranny as well. No idea on the price, but their phone # is in the book and they have 1-800 number as well. |
Murray i guess i should send you some pics of my car sometime if i wanna be part of VIS eh?? lol I gotta get the car done first i guess... otherwise the pics will be outdated, its not much to look at right now thats for sure. |
bob want to fix my supra? lol |

i took the supra for a short rip today, first time in 3 weeks. holy fuck is that thing scary compared to the Rx7. haha.. rx7 is quick, but holy shit, i forgot what torque felt like. gonna be neat after a few more months of this beater driving, readjusting to the supra |
im kinda scared... driving sprints and datsuns all year, then jumping back into the supra is going to be *ahem* different... ill bring an extra set of underwear :) |
yeah, i should have brought extra underwear. that was seriously freaky i've totally forgotten how to drive the supra |
going from 3 cylinder fwd 50hp to 6 cylinder turbo rwd 232+hp will be interesting. going from 6 cylinder turbo rwd 232+hp back to 3 cylinder fwd 50hp for daily driving will be sad. |
