I think a turbo that spools that quickly and can boost 25 psi all day long iis a pretty damn good choice, if you aren't just looking for big numbers and 1/4 times.
Ryan's said himself the mk3 isnt a drag car, so whats the point of slapping on a oversized turbo which you cant spool til almost redline?

20G is a nice turbo, but would work a lot better on a 5spd car... and as for the "small" comment, the exhaust side is pretty much double the size of your upgraded CT, and will stay reliable for awhile, unlike the CT

well i just saying the 20g is just tad small for my taste's

it nice up grade simuler to the ct btu the ct will nto last long caus eo fall the heat ti builds up from the hot side thata dn shaft is small and the seasl are junk

if you want good power all around rebuilty the 20g is great turbo but again it is to small for my goals of power

plsu what makes the 20g not good choice no more is they rasied the price ont eh 20g so not it don't lok any mroe pretty any more in my eye muray got hsi at great price to bad he had ot weight for ever

the sp trubo are great and if want chuck some money dicht he hole botl on thing complatly and just run race gate ect

really depends on your goal's but ti going to be hell fun once my car is done we will see what this littel ct can do befor i replace it wiht some thign bigger

my supra is now wingless just waiting for the paint to dry on some parts and then it will be weatherproof.

next up on the todo list is the trim and tails. i have to go to JB again, as the paint i got isnt a perfect match, so im taking the wing in so they can use thier camera on it.

7MGTE question

I don't have a Supra but am looking for a complete 7MGTE (USDM or JDM) with tranny, complete harness & ECU. Where can I find such a beast for around $1000-1500? I was thinking of checking out JK Japanese Engines in the lower mainland but would prefer local.

PS: This will not be installed in an AE86.

TIA!

look in the buy&sell... last time I was looking there was a complete turbo car with body and interior damage for 750 bucks.

Also, last time I was at south island imports they also had a mk3 there with a turbo motor complete except the rad and IC and someone had swiped the turbocharger. It had the r154 tranny as well. No idea on the price, but their phone # is in the book and they have 1-800 number as well.
