Well my supra runs... ive got a code 51 to take care of and wire in some guages and my dual electric fans and it should be ready to go. I bought a TPS off of Dr.Jonez from SF so im hoping that its ok... he promised it was good but i know for a fact the TPS was adjusted when i put everything together... so hopefully now its come out of adjustment for whatever reason... hmm, we'll see i guess.

just pull it apart and use contack cleaner
don't use the condutive gresh on the points at all eahter since it can get wedged between the contack and fuck some shit up

Ok, i finally got it all running sweet like i was trying to. Got rid of my code 51 now and was able to set my base timing. What do you guys think i should do as far as my BOV? Recirculate or vent? I made a unit up to recirculate it and i was fully prepared to do so but it sounds sooooo boring... its almost quiter than stock when i recirculate it. But if its gonna be stalling and backfiring all over the place still like it used to then i would rather recirculate it... any opinions?

what kind did you get? i never had any problems with my HKS as long as i paid attention. like after a full throttle run, putting the clutch in, just give the throttle a quick blip and it wont stall.

Its the same one i have always been running. Its the Blitz Dual Drive. Its really not that bad actually... and it should only be better now that i have a good TPS. I guess i will drive around for a bit with it vented and see how it goes. I just remember it bugged me a little when it stalled the very odd time but more less it was the backfiring that drove me crazy. Not to mention hard on things.

i think you back fireing was cause of your bent vavle
as in it stalling meh you never really have the prob at your curennt power akak no fule mods
stalling yes if you go full out to stop it will stall just don't do that and you be fine ps not many poepel have porb wiht back fireing any way's
io had pop ones in blue moon floowed by nice juicey flame
plus you have afc so if it tuned right you should nto ahve prob
and fi you still ahve prob stalling just ajust your buter fly about 100 to 150 rpm

get eibachs or H&Rs. Eibachs are a moderate drop, H&Rs are low.

thanks a bunch for the 57lb supra diet plan, ryan!
car felt fine on the way back, but a stinkin' cat ran out infront of me and i had to jam on the brakes... half the parts in my car went flying forward, think i scratched up the interior a bit
temps are about 210-215 with like 98% water and 2% water wetter, not a huge drop in temp but im sure the airflow is a ton better now |

not to mention the total lack of aftermarket support and i'd hate to have a 1jz blow on me. gonna be a bitch to rebuild or even get parts for since not many people have a clue how to work on the damn things.
only real benefits for ian is the 5spd, but compared to modding out the stock engine i just dont think its worth it....
build up the stock auto and find a shift kit for it, there must be something in a manual valve body or even something like the suprastick electronic shift system out there.
