Hey Mur, I remember when I bought my rad a few months ago we were talking about them but I can't remember which one you were talking about... anyways I just ended up getting an OEM replacement one from lordco. It has plastic tanks like the stocker, not metal ones - but it's worked fine for me so far.
There was a guy on SF in the canadian section selling a basically brand-new Koyo. You should check that out, I wish I saw it before I bought mine! I ended up paying around 300 for mine, the best deal I could find locally... I wish I could have shopped around a bit first cause there's better deals out there - but I couldn't wait that long.

murray, use seawings express to bring it across the border. its usually cheap or free shipping in the US, then you just pay about $20 and do the duty stuff yourself.
art, let me know if/when you want to come take a look at it, im kinda busy this week helping my gf move and stuff, but ill be in and out of town....

this is basically the rad i was looking at.. they are all over ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KOYO-...spagenameZWDVW
as for the wideband. hmm, i will probably have to look into them a bit more. perhaps after the rad.
i also sprung a leak in my AFPR today, so i cant drive the supra, boo. just gotta put a few new o-rings in though. i then went to drive the RX7 and the battery was dead. haha

Hey Murray, I actually emailed those guys about that rad. Seems like there were 2 different ones so make sure you get the right one!! The shipping quote wasn't all that bad either, but the duty charges would probably be killer.
I finally got my clutch in the mail last night, but I'm moving back down to Nanaimo today so I won't be able to do it myself/with my dad Anyone ever had one installed at a shop or know roughly how much they charge?

Clutch work = too much.
If I were you, I'd do it myself.

actually ryan its pointed to go through the fender hole, or through the snorkel hole, depends on which bend you use, no cutting required. i got kenny to make it that way for a reason, and i never got around to finishing the hardpipes for various reasons.

I met a guy today with a blue 89+ Targa, just had 18" chrome 6 spokes put on it yesterday, but other than that its stock, he heard there was a way to tweak his wastegate for more power, but unfortunately having an NA i couldnt help him with that. You guys know anything about it?

unbolt the 2 bolts and add some washers to make the spring stiffer and it will hold more boost before it opens
Just tell him to be careful not to add too many washers if it's still all stock, especially if he only has the stock boost gauge - I'd probably start with one or 2 on each side.

heheeh yes they r very fun! but ryan, im not hitting fuel cut it doesnt seem anymore... but i think the timing is off or something because aparently it shoots a nice black poof when i give'r.... Ryan (rx7 buddy) was racing me and yea he noticed that while he was behind me defiantely alot more lower end power.. and i ran it for an hour, wasted 25 bux of gas and could still grab my upper i/c pipe.. im pretty pleased |
