So the Supra is finally gone!! Its about time... even though i had to let it go for $2500 bucks as a running car, it will pay off in the end by not having to put anymore money into it. If anyone wants some hardpipes or my turbo timer let me know.

Paradox 09-26-2005 09:41 PM

bob, 2500 bux for a running good condition MK3? cursed or not that is freakin' cheap! i figure you could have parted it out for more $$$

o'well.. you seemed to hate it anyways :( too bad it didnt work out for ya

btw, who ended up buying it?

Slate 85GTS 09-26-2005 11:02 PM

Yeah Murray, the car was just a nightmare from day one. And before i bought that car, i probably wanted a supra more than anyone here... ever since i bought my celica i always dreamed of owning a supra after that. I guess it was just the wrong one to start with or something because it was nothing but trouble as you probably know. I cant say that im fond of the 7M motor in the least anymore... but anyways i had to let it go cheap because it developed some bad knock/noise that im sure was rodknock not two weeks after i got the head back on with the metal headgasket. That was the final straw. It seemed like nobody wanted it so i sold it back to Shane, the kid i bought it from originally for what i paid for it.

islandsupra 09-27-2005 12:39 AM

it's gone!
that car was cool, I liked the look of it but I agree it was nothing but trouble for you. 2500 or not, you saved yourself a buttload of cash and trouble in the long run.
If only I was that smart... lol.

Matt6003 09-27-2005 08:45 AM

Well at least its gone, and you got something for it. Too bad you had such trouble with it though. Oh by the way, I will take the clear lenses from ya :D

Slate 85GTS 09-27-2005 06:11 PM

Matt, when do you want them? I could probably meet you somewhere in sidney or something after work one day if you wanted??

Enraged 09-27-2005 06:33 PM

yo matt, come get your speakers. ill be home tomorrow afternoon after 4pm.

and ryan, looks like putting the fuel system in cant happen on saturday, im probably workin all day... on a related note, the custom fastener i designed, got quotes for, and then ordered from a fastener manufacturer (we are ordering about 10,000 of them) works exactly the way it was supposed to, so im happy :)

there ya go ryan :) enjoy everyone!

Enraged 09-27-2005 09:16 PM

nice turbo! just a little modification of the compressor outlet there and it will be good to go!

matt, the fastener i s pressed into 14 gauge steel and hold an additional 1 or 2 layers of 14 gauge. its a pivot that uses a c-clip to hold the metal together, made of brass. pretty cool to see something i basically designed that is going to be on a production piece that may be sold all over the world :)

Matt6003 09-27-2005 09:19 PM

Wow, thats huge! Looks good Ryan

Congrats Toby, thats awsome, i'd be taking pride in knowing that

Paradox 09-27-2005 09:49 PM

fastners for...what?

hehe j/k looks good, but so much for that quick spool concept you had going.

islandsupra 09-28-2005 12:06 AM

Enraged 09-28-2005 01:54 PM
