nah, your mk3 is already prepped to be a machine on the road! think about all the bracing and suspension work you did. Don't waste that engine on the mk2, then wtf will you do with the white (more like brown haha) beast? |
anyone want some solenoids? haha i got 2 boxes for free ;) also got a crapload of stainless steel in various shapes, so i have lots of practice material... pickin up the bottle in the next few days, argon 22 should cover everything... might use all the stainless to make a welding cart! |
holy shit!!! where'd you get the solenoids from? I'd gladly take a couple off your hands :p Plus I need to make some brackets.....thick sheetmetal would be cool..... ;) |
Have fun dying if you gut the mk2, seriously. lol |
Stupid car.. was supposed to go get my hair cut today, but i went to start it and im getting no power :( couldnt jump it either. |

accessories work? no power at all?(no radio, lights etc) turns over but doesnt start? |
replace your battery with that one you bought and make sure all your batt. cables are tight and clean. specially where they ground to the car... |
if everything else is fine, check the stupid contacts on the brown starter plug. |
or...fuses! the 100A went on me 6 times, a couple of the times it didnt even look blown the secondary 30/40A's also can cause it...I know one of them essentially controls the 2nd IGN, mine melted and shut down my safc, tt etc when I was driving and I only had limited power...I ended up soldering it together to get home :( |

hmm.. check your battery grounds, connections. also fuses ofcourse. seems kind of odd your car fires up fine sometimes but not others, i'm thinking a loose connection somewhere. |
well looks like the ebay sold the boost gauge i wanted, but the good thing is that he is going to send me the live unit for the blitz DC series water temp gauge, so i can sell the iD water temp gauge and my autometers, and ill have the DC gauges, with warning, record, and replay :) http://us.st11.yimg.com/store1.yimg....s_1871_1927148 |
