No, because harnessing that kid of power through the front wheels would not be good times.

hey does anyone have a stock working used turbo for sale?

NashMan 12-12-2005 10:10 PM

nope sorry no one does

why do you need one

89TSoup 12-12-2005 11:18 PM

..cuz my car is turbocharged, they need turbo's to run. ;)

islandsupra 12-13-2005 12:11 AM

i know someone that has one for 150 bucks. He bought it with intentions of using it on a triumph roadster project.
Not the greatest price, but not bad and I've seen it, it's in good shape.

hey do any of you islang guys know about carter performance? they are on ebay and in Voctoria and i'm probably going to be buying parts from them.

Don't worry Nashman, i'm just being cheeky.
I mine is blown and i want to be able to drive my car once the engine is done the rebuild instead of saving up to buy the turbo i want.
can you find out any more info for the ones for sale?

arturiusma7

Almost any shop in canada will cost you WAY more when it comes to supra parts...I don't think there's a single thing I've bought outside of the US, spare my turbo & exhaust which was from a local supra guy. Everything else I made myself or got from the US :)

Eh honestly...If you're going to go with new pistons, go forged...Not much more expensive in the long run
Not a big fan of generic bearings...Non-toyota freeze plugs are known to have problems

Why, what's wrong with your motor?

NashMan 12-14-2005 12:34 AM

use geumin toyota toyota parts

you can change hg/bolts/pistons/bareings
with with after maket

like comitick arp ross clevit

well i'm open to suggestions on parts.

I'm not looking for crazy horsepower. at this point i just want a car because it's been months without one.
I can buy forged pistons but nothing crazy like top line JE. We're talking about downtime.

arturiusma7
i was talking to my friend and he said that his buddy just dynoed his supra at 307hp. i was like "hey i saw a guy on revscene at 307hp" and turns out you know him, Byan Mckinlay.
