ummm did you just say you got the solid disc for you car

if so don't use it in less you want a 4 speed or a 3 speed if you catch my drift

arturiusma7 03-15-2006 06:48 AM

I don't really want the whole rear sub frame... just the bits and mounts around the diff, axles, A arms... etc etc

I know the Cressida Rear has like a Box bracket around it... dunno if the supra does... maybe I should check out the Cressy's too :lol

NashMan 03-15-2006 05:46 PM

oh a high note i got my new waste gate and bov

it looks pretty but i going to have to cut off my wastget flamng on my header since it seam to be the wroung bolt patten oh well it came wiht flanges and every thign so it's all good

arturiusma7 03-15-2006 08:45 PM

i dunno im not worried about it. theres a couple guys on supraforums and mania running the same clutch as a daily driver.. both with over 10k Miles on em. havent broken anything. im just not going to drive like an idiot. if it is too harsh, then im going to leave the ACT PP in and put in a new stock clutch disc or the old one.. depending on how it looks.

NashMan 03-15-2006 10:19 PM

well it's your tranny

see the r154 does not like shock at all

there not fun to drive on the street

see if you can get the cluthc changed

act has list mile long on retrun on the solid disk clutch

teh more power you push the fast it will break but at your mods it will break and you will loose a gear fair warning

arturiusma7 03-16-2006 07:18 AM

yea.. well ive decided that im going to list the disc on ebay.. and on supraforums and such.. i dont know what kind of disc im ging to end up getting.. but if funds go right id like to get the bronze 6 puck sprung one from horsepowerfreaks...

NashMan 03-16-2006 03:24 PM

yup that or stock clutch cause that is all the act one is and still hold 400+ good good for you

spend money on my lighten fly wheel or some thing liekmy fly wheel

arturiusma7 03-16-2006 05:10 PM

well i can get a stock clutch for like.. 60 bux or something.. so might grab that.. i just would like a clutch that grabs faster.. if u still have it when i come out next ill grab it from u...most likely anyways

NashMan 03-16-2006 08:30 PM

ok coo coo

ps i have driven car wiht solid hub it not really to fun to drive have to slip it bog it or chatter it

NashMan 03-18-2006 07:51 PM

hey guys i most likly going to be selling my 255 fule pump who is intrested give mean offer used for 2 mouths and 5 day's

i going to be picking up a aermotive one from don

http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/pric...mps/part/A1000

89TSoup 03-18-2006 10:16 PM

hey anyone here ever pull and install your engine before?
i'm going to need to be pulling mine and installing it and i'm not looking forward to it after today.

I was helping my buddy install the engine into his 280zx and was having a tough time clearing the crossmember with the oil pan, the problem was because the top part of the engine is hitting the firewall, we where doing the install with the tranny on.

After comparing my engine bay to his i think it's going to be a nightmare because our supra bays are way more packed.
Tomorrow we are removing the crossmember and that should do it, as i will be doing on my car.

any advice or experiance?

NashMan 03-19-2006 05:58 AM

it is really easy to pull a supra motor

you need to people to pull one

Hey Ryan, I'm sure that the A-1000 is rated for 1000 crank hp for carbuerated engines and 800 crank hp for injected. So about 650ish whp for us Supra guys..Hope that's enough for you.

Also if any of you need parts for the MKIII Supra let me know as I have lots of stuff..

peace.
