the new car gets an inspection tomorrow, and assuming it passes, the sprint comes off the road tomorrow night, and a for sale sign goes in the window.

only work that needs to be done: it needs 2 new tires, and they are $32 + tax each from crappy tire, and the 2 good tires need to be remounted, as the leak air every couple of days.

$500 for the guys i know, people i don't aren't getting that price. if its not sold by friday ill probably put an ad in the paper for $700 with new tires.

i can't be sure how much its out, but the odometer read 40km and the signs on the highway indicated 35. Cruising on the Malahat at what I think is around 80-85kph, the speedo reads around 105-110.

Rich (drax240 that i work with) suggested keeping the diff as is, and just finding a replacement speedo gear. I'm going to stop by malahat auto on the way home and see if they have any. ryan, ill stop by your house if your around, we can jack up the car and check the code on the pumpkin.

how witch way is cheeper i don't knwo but if you had low gear in the back ti whoudl suck for pep wise and stuff but great for gas milage

Hey guys, just a random question... but how much do you all pay for insurance??
Mine just came out again for the month and got me thinking (since I've been paying insurance on a car I'm not driving).

Currently on my 87t I'm paying $108 a month which I thought wasn't so bad. I go through ICBC for basic only, then coast capital for full collision and comp. + $1mil. liability. No extras on my car are insured though.
I can't remember what my discount with ICBC is, I think it's around 25 or 30%

Anyone on here paying significantly less? If so, who do you deal with?

im paying 146 a month.. basic with icbc, then additional with coast capital. i have 300collision, 300 comp, 3mill liability, theft and all that good stuff :) im loaded. discount is at.. 15%?

i don''t remmber mine it's bean over 1 year for me but mine is regestered as a 86.5 na

im payin $63/month right now for basic + 3mil liability on the celica, goin to upgrade/change it a bit next payday. Supra was around $950/year for full coverage last time i had it insured.

oh ya, im at 40% right now, and have been for 2 years. they froze it at 40% becuase apparantly i built up a discount too fast. i got in when they were giving 10% per year, had that for 3 years. oh well, I go up to 42% next year.
