islandsupra 05-22-2006 11:15 AM

methinks it looks horrible.
I honestly think that the AB flug is the worst kit out there, totally ruins the lines of the car.

arturiusma7 05-22-2006 12:05 PM

that kit is an abortion

islandsupra 05-22-2006 05:06 PM

well the beast made it home!

Just a few things I gotta look at though, it's backfiring like a mofo and seemed a bit laggy at low revs... I think it's running a little rich again for some reason.
But drove pretty good other than that!

NashMan 05-22-2006 05:16 PM

hummm that is not good buti bet youfind out what is wroung

i woulder why muray took the supra out of his sig i guess he does not liekit no more or some thign

NashMan 05-22-2006 08:50 PM

idea

well i ahve bena looking for wide wheelf a long time

but i got this idea why not get a 17 inc steali and get them wided to liek 9 in the fornt and liek 10 in the rear

or some thing

islandsupra 05-22-2006 09:04 PM

do you think it might weigh too much?

I'm not sure, just my initial thought to the idea.... seems like 10 inch wide steel rims might weigh a fair amount. And for dragging/racing isn't smaller (height) wheels more ideal??
I don't know, it's just the first thing that came to mind when I read that.

have not really taken weight as concer as most steeiles are pretty light to certon point

all have to find a rim frist and see howmuch it weighs in at

arturiusma7 05-23-2006 08:25 AM

honestly i think just finding some mustang wheels is best.. 15x8. aluminum.. some are 16x8 but still.. better then 17's i think.

islandsupra 05-23-2006 09:27 AM

rx7 wheels are 16x8 too.

or for cheap wide 17's mk4 wheels are the obvious choice. ALthough everyone and their dog has them.

heheheh that was so much fun i never bena car that truns that tight i don't even thing my rx7 turned that tight

Enraged 05-24-2006 01:07 PM

ya, now i just have to get the diff mounted properly. also, im picking up new KVR discs and pads for the front, and install some new brake lines. with a short shifter, and exhuast, and an intake, it might be a decent little auto-x car...

oh ya, ryan, the guy did the swap himself, so ill just fixc it myself. im goin to stop by the junk yard and look at a supra diff and a celica diff in comparison, and ask about them cutting off that rear section of the subframe where the diff mounts.

NashMan 05-25-2006 08:47 AM

that whoudl be good ide ai chould even weld it for it

cause welding upsaid down is pretty tricky plus the aline ment

ifyou doget a chunk cut off it will be have ot be from place that cna be easlyread from foraliment cause you don't want it sittign funny
