soo my car got towed today.. im realllly pleased!! sitting in the line up to get on the albeion ferry. car will not start. starter is like engaging, then disengaging and engaging again.. motor is shuddering.. its getting spark.. no blowen fuses.. fuel pump is runing. AHHHHH fuck im so pissed

i have spare starter as well

wasnt a starter.. stupid car.. timing cover bolt melted through the wire loom casing going over the valve cover and was shorting something out.. ugh.. i wish i just moved the stupid thing around.. then i would of been able to go to mission :(

its all good now. but now i have a new problem lol.. im hitting fuel cut at like 13 psi.. which im thinking is normal so im not worried about that.. but my wastegate is staying open... ill punch it throw first, then shift to second and itll stay open.. and my car is a slug... it happens in all gears... or even if i hammer it then let off the throttle then go back on it, not even WOT it stays open.. ugh.. i dont think it would be the MBC.. because its still hitting 10 psi or so..

get rid of the mbc or dp that is your choice

well im getting rid of the dp. and if that doesnt help them the mbc is going out next.

I finally started working on my car a little bit. I haven't gotten brave enough to tackle the dash yet... well truthfully I just don't really care enough right now to commit myself to the time to do it.

I think I am going to take the insurance off next week, I really dont need the car up here. The only places that arent within a 15 min walk are the lakes and stuff, which are all gravel roads anyhow.

But I started taking things off under the hood for cleanup and paint... nothing fancy just medium black so it doesn't look like ass anymore, and some fun with the wirewheel... I might do a little polishing if I get the motivation or else it's just getting hit with a rattlecan/powdercoated if I can get a hold of the guy up here.

well my supra is off the raod now. sporting a nice 87 sprint. 5 spd. oil pan is leaking like a MUTHER so i gotta fix that tomorrow.. right now its going through a Litre a day so...

haha good to hear its holding up. he change the oil yet? i never did when i owned it, didnt even change the filter. just kept pouring in oil whenever it got low :)

wow im so pissed off.. the sprint slapped me in the face. what i thought was a leaky oil pan gasket, turned into a whole different situation. 3 holes are stripped, one head broken. soooo im so screwed :) and my supra is in victoria and im in vancouver!

wow it sounds like it has knock now too.. lol i took it for a spin this morning to see how bad its leaking. which surprisingly its not leaking very much.. i was going about 80kmh in 3rd so it was revved up pretty good. i think i might try and sell itfor 400 and see if i can get it out of my driveway.. find something else.

GR!! but... im putting a tupperware container under it when i park, then i can just dump the oil back in hahah... this is just until i have time to fix it. aka the weekend.
