hrm maybe I'll run it up to $$$$$$$$ and get them to change all the fluids to save me the trouble. I know it cost Tyson about 15$ to get all of his changed.
I looked into the radiator this morning and its kindof ugly.
about 130$ to repair (if its repairable) and 290 for a new one.
Old cars ftw.

Gonna rip it out either tomorrow or tonight. (if i get a chance)
Or maybe ill just go with a new one.
Doing the flush myself wouldnt be so hard, cant I just buy a cleaning additive instead of flushing it with only water? its all they would do at a shop :S
either that or fit the garden hose on one end of the coolant hose and run it through the entire system for a bit. that could be fun.

A little off topic.
There are tons of Walbro fuel pumps for sale on supraforums, but some do not include the full installation kit. Is it needed?

garend hose is the the home way but if there is alot fo junk in there it going to need some persure to froce it all out plus it
this way you don't have to jack upt eh front end of the car to let the air bubble out some times it takes for ever
reson being the is the teh heater core is higher thent he rad so air will pool up in that arae
put it this way i do all my stuff my self but stil get a muchine to do aflush like once every 2 1/2 year's
ps don't run toyota red coolent it crappy and cost alot green is just fine
oh ya ei on another note fix you oil lines this si wahts is caseing your oil leak i just can see you cam seal dead my mk2 had 320 on it and there just a tad bit fo weep but all seals will do this any way this is how they seal to certon point
if it ant broek don't tuch it cause if you pop the cams off you hav eot re shim it witch takes about ummm 4 hours to 5 hours me doing it and if you don't got the shim you have to order them withc takes time
if you have the speacil toyota spring tool it ntot hat bad but re tighteing lososeing of the caps will where out the thread and strip them over time trust me i knwo
oh yae felpro suck ass that shit weesp as soon as it is on and theer injector seal leak liek siv

I got lucky and have a fairly steep driveway at my house, so I figure burping it wont be hard at all...
I see the point with the pressure buisness, but ima just make a fitting for my hose to fit the connection on the top of the rad where the hose goes...then just giv'er.
but yea steep driveway = win.

heh, fluke much, I would have never noticed.
On a seperate note, holy crap my valve covers aren't black, that was just the layers of oil on them that I cleaned after pulling them off.
Valve cover seals are back on with some RTV sealant and lock washers/hex bolts..hopefully that should stop the spewage all over my engine bay. Now its just a case of repairing all the sh*tty hoses that managed to crack themselves.
Oh and maybe a B&M oil cooler but we'll see how money works out, I might just replace the oil line + all vacuum hoses for the moment.
