maybe $1000, i dont know but seems like a steal other than the fact you dont trust the HG at all.
i know junkers would want near that, so try asking higher, see what happens.

well I sold my old engine for 500(?)-ish with a spun rod..... but also let the guy take the ecu and a few other parts for his swap. The car only had about 65k on it at that point but I guess that doesn't matter so much considering. So 1000 doesn't seem like too far a stretch when you take into account what they ask for at the yards.
PS - murray is a slut.

ecu is only like $50 difference, but ya, since you have dyno sheets and such..you should logically be able to get a good price for it, i would ask $1500
go figure what a junker would seperate it for, just the turbo would sell for $400, I/C another $100, injectors probably $40 each or more. it all adds up. ryan would know better. but those are closer or underestimated costs.
ps reueben carter could take a man out with just one punch

i wouldnt pay more than $500 for a longblock (no manifolds/wires/sensors, just the head and shortblock) with that description. and if you still have it in the summer, i might you can pick up jdm motors for around $1000 now, so for a complete engine with dyno sheet, you should easily get that.
so good news, the supra is in the garage. finally. try pushing a 3600 lb car uphill on tires that havent been the right pressure for 2 years... not fun, but thanks to some nice neighbors, we got it in. im picking up some tire dollys (the ind that fit under the tire and have 4 casters) so i can move the car around in the single car garage. next week, work will begin! oh ya, and my blitz md gauges arrived, they are beautiful.
i may be building a new intake manifold (for future use, ill keep using the one i have now), a sheetmetal style. at work, i can get parts made on te cnc punch and bent on a cnc brakem for basically the cost of material, so ive been working on a Solidworks model of the plenum. if i end up doing it, ill use a cnc mill at school to cut the tb flange and the bottom of the plenum where it connect to the runners... fun stuff, ill post pics of the progress.

true toby, buy i'd rather get a motor that i know pulls strong off the bat than some JDM crate motor you dont know if it has trashed interals, BHG, turbo play. etc those asians know how to beat on their motors.

Well fuck dude, I might buy this off of you in the next few weeks, depending on how my block looks when I crack it open!
Ryan and myself pulled it today (Sunday) and I should be opening it up sometime this week.
I'll be in touch if I need it (think I have a fucked rod bearing, but it may have been the 2 missing and 1 loose turbo mounting bolts). Fuck.

^^Damn i want most of that^^ ryan, but i need to get my car running first! I'm in the process of buying a BIC DDP so when that get's here i'm putting a new gasket on the exhaust manifold and gonna put my new turbo on.
I had a question about where to get ct-26 gaskets tho because lordco doesn't carry them. Toyota should have them shouldn't they? and it's a gasket so it shouldn't be a rediculous price. Any ideas?
Once thats done and back together its getting insured so i can finally drive it again!
cheers

if toyota doesn't have it, make your own. lordco sells that cardboard-like gasket material, just cut out the right shape, spray it down with a heavy coat of copper spray, and you should be fine. thats what im doing for my elbow>downpipe gasket, i cant find the gasket that came with it...

It's a metal one and I re-used mine. Havn't had any exhaust leaks or problems. Gave it a good clean with a wire brush though to get off any dirt/rust though. That was the gasket for the turbo->turbo elbow.

I'm planning on re-using my turbo->dp gasket but i wasnt sure about the manifold-> turbo one. I had considered making my own gasket but they don't last as long, depending on the price i might end up doing that tho.
I've tried to buy two different BIC downpipes now and both sellers have backed out on me. Chad decided that he's going to use his and I tried to get a ddp off a guy in toronto and we had agreed on a price and then he too decided to use his. I seem to be cursed, anyone know of a 3" downpipe for sale, preferably divorced?
cheers

ya, wtf is with people lately. i PAID a guy for front upper and lower a-arm bushings, and he refunded my paypal and sold to someone else. then i ask for an oil pressure sensor plug, a guy wants $5 shipped, so not even worth my time trying to find one local... then HE refunds my paypal becuase he wants to check on the cost of shipping! so screw him, bought it off another guy for $3 shipped in an regular mail envelope lol
