ryan I have the type s and I can hear it, but it's not overly/obnoxiously loud. |
you can keep my bosch ryan... |
can someone do me a favor, it will take 5 minutes. i wont be able to get back to my car until the weekend. i need the measurements for the overall dimensions of the valvecovers. length, width, and height from the top of the edge where the screws go to the top of the valvecover. inches or mm, but they need to be fairly accurate, so within 1/16" or 1/32" if you can.... |
Ryan, lemme know if you want that bosch or not.. |
sure all take it the one i got is piss ass to fucken quite |
ill be there on sat, so ill grab it then. |
anyone need 3.5" T-bolt clamps? ive got 18 of them. tightened all the way they are 3". |
hey alex, you may want to get this since your engine is apart: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38245 |
i may be intrested toby i need 2 for my new trubo acording house if i don't have them all ready that i think i do |
what size is the stock turbo inlet? im giving these away, not selling. they came out of the scrap bin at work :) if they fit the AFM and the turbo, i have enough for 9 supras! |
they will fit the AFM, not sure about the turbo though. i think CT26 is more like 3.7? |
I think stock inlet is 2.75" ... or at least that's what supramania tells me =) |
maybe i was thinkin' 2.7, owell |
they are a bit big for the turbo if its 2.75, they only compress to 3". if you guys dont want them, ill pop them up for sale on supramania :) |
outside diameter with the accordian hose shouldbe 3+... |
if any of you guys need fasteners, i get a discount through work at FastenerForce. just picked up 150 M6 and M8 bolts, with washers and nuts, for $23. without discount would have been almost double that. |
Nice! I'm not sure what bolts I'd need for my valve covers...But i'd like to replace those with SS ones. |
as i ahve mentioned befor i want the t bolts drop them of tobbsert |
ill come by on sunday |
i will not be here on sunday i think most likly will be in vancover but it may chnage thou if alex does nto come to van with me |
ryan, i dropped 2 clamps and my old headbolts in your mailbox. cut the hole by the battery box today, used my die grinder, worked like a charm. getting the fender/door edging onto the rough edge was a bitch though, but its all done, so no sharp edges now. hardpipes are pretty much done, just need to get the intake manifold welded and i can at the last 2 bends. once thats done, ill get them welded, then im powdercoating them, along with the valvecovers, lower intake runners, and alt/lifting bracket. gunmetal, just like my wheels. i need to buy a battery box sometime this week, relocating it to the hatch. i went to lordco, and the guy suggested an oddysee battery, its completely dry and NHRA legal, so no box required, just a proper mount. too bad they run $250. the other alternative is hope the battery i have is ok, and just by a box. |
just get a otuma there pretty cheep at wall mart oh and thakns for the clamps and such ps axel is lucky he is still alive i whould ahve draged him home on chain behide my car that or use him as canoe lets put it this way ti is 4 am and i got back form vancover |
miss the last boat to victoria and had to get the one to naniamo, then drive back to victoria? |
aw jeeze, lets hear this story! haha. sorry ryan, i never got a chance to get you that blow off valve or afm. but hey, if u have time this weekend coming up, let me know... im coming back across. |
