The Saturn might be sold tomorrow... to Supra, or not to Supra, that is the question.

ostampflee 06-23-2007 07:56 PM

Zepp 06-23-2007 07:56 PM

Black SC2 06-23-2007 10:26 PM

The other option is to wait for a decent Viggen to pop up....

keep your eyes open... may be a certain one up for sale in a few weeks.

Black SC2 06-27-2007 12:39 AM

No need, the Saturn is not sold, and I'm still not able to buy another car.

Enraged 06-27-2007 12:56 PM

well im considering getting in on the group buy for the probe pistons thats been posted on supramania. anyone else interested, we can split shipping? theres more info at driftmotion.com

what size would i need? as far as i know, my motor has never been rebuilt, but i dont know how good the cylinder walls are. the pistons are offered in stock, 20 over, and 40 over. i was thinking 20 over, so the block could be rehoned and crosshatched to match the piston, but still leave enough material to go bigger if needed. thoughts?

Enraged 06-27-2007 01:40 PM

i picked up the sheet aluminum parts i had made at my old job, anyone want a fan shroud? ive got 3 extras. some trimming required. made from 14 gauge aluminum sheet, cnc punched and bent.

also put the plenum and tb on the car to see if it would clear, need to put the hood back on to be sure.

ive got the valvecovers and valley cover too

Zepp 06-27-2007 05:14 PM

how much for the shroud :)

TobyCat 06-27-2007 06:36 PM

Hey Toby, I'm ordering a set of those pistons so we can go together on some shipping. I'm in the same position as you w/ a stock motor that still runs good. I think 20 overs would be the best size as if you go with a stock size, then hone, you'll end up with some rattling :(

Oh and, I need a fan shroud!
