how much is that going to set you back? i need a fucking bandsaw. anyone seen any on sale? looking for a metalcutting one, prefferably one of the ones that converts between vertical and horizontal. |
just under 4000 |
jeez, you could have bought a turbo car for that much :) haha jk, post pics when its done. |
hey nashman i'm lookin for a center console pad dealy that isnt ripped... u said u have one that night u were at the kegger lol.. any chance u got one? i want it gotta be red |
yes indeed i have one and have hole parts car now and many perfroamce stuff for sale now as well too |
exxcellent.. when would be a good time to come over and scavange? |
Im picking up these rims Gram Lights 57F they are 8.5 wide but regardless if i choose the 7.5 wide or the 8.5 wide it says the tire size for my car should be 225 wide, how wide can you go on a 8.5" wide rim without sacraficing performance and safety, furthermore, is that too wide for the supra to worry about rubbing *im lowered 2.5 from stock all round* and furthermore to that, would it make more sense to go 225/40/18 on front and 245/40/18 on back? I remember hearing that different sizing upsets balance. |

for tires, you should be fine with 245s or so on all 4 corners. get a good tire, ask nashman, he goes through tires fast |
if have power wide is the best bet my front rims are wider then yours i still spin my 275's and i have not even put big power down yet ps cut out rust that way it wiull not come back |
yeah im thinking of going with yokohama advan neova's for tires and yeah nash its all getting cut and welded, so it will never come back *knock on wood* |
what kinda performance parts do u got for sale ryan? |
crappy tire for the price Quote:

to much to list i am only one handed right now Quote:

Gross, 245's in the front? Silly! If you like having your car being *pulled* into grooves and recesses on the highways sure. |
i plan to run 245 up front there is no down fall fomr it it all comes down to the tire in that case perrie p zeros are bad for that |
245s too skinny you mean? i'll be running 255s front, 275s rear on MKIV wheels. |
255 up front is a bit much taken streering away blows goat plus u will have to use spacers ps my tendon snap today |
No, 245 is too big in the front. The thicker the tire is, the harder it is to drive on streets where there are grooves from wear/over weight vehicles (ie mckenzie, quadra, douglas etc.) as it pulls you into those grooves. |
dude it is all based on the tire and it's called tracking on how well your cars blet will react to the uneven pavment trust me on this |
i could care less about tracking, just makes you pay attention when driving. |
Whats an 86.5-88 nonturbo auto with 161,000 km worth, assuming a good engine/trans and ok body? |
-auto -non turbo +decently low km +body in good shape = $1200-1600 |
