My Mk3's heatercore blew, anyone ever do one of these? I hear the whole dash and all the accessories have to come out. Its pissing coolant out of the pass. side foot vent and some little pipe on the firewall, I was wondering why ive been getting air in the system so much. What are they worth from Toyota? Im stuck driving my peice of crap 83 Toy 4x4 on 35's, not being able to drive far or over the hat is getting old fast.
One other thing, my hatch window is leaking, the little cover peice inside fills with water, the seal is newer.. ive heard water can leak through under the window trim pieces though? anyone fix this?

dsah has to come out it pretty easy it take me about 45 min in and out but i done it more then once
cross bar as well
buy them used new is pretty heafty price malahat auto has one if i remmber right
as for the trunk most of the times is from rear tail lightlights and power entena and if you have a rear wing that is one of the most populer spots it will leak at the monting holes
easy way is just pop it off and you will see the leak cause she be all wet or have rust stains

hire ryan to do the dash, so much easier than doing it yourself haha
and the leak is probably from the wing, thats where mine leaked.

Ive read about it coming through the trim peices around the rear window, its the little plastic cover on the inside of my hatch that fills with water then dumps out when I lift it open, not the floor, if it was the floor id suspect antenna/tails.

Check for any gaps/cracks in the trim along the bottom of the window. Its a pain. You could get new trim, but pelling it up and using seal all works too for a cheap fix.

I'm not complaining
Turbo rx7s are another story ;P (most of them suffer over rich tunes due to detonation fears :P)

Rx7's can get pretty decent mileage using EFI, old carb'ed FB's suck it up like gas was going out of style. but they are awesome fun cars.
my FB, 13b and Racing Beat Holley 600cfm i was putting in about $10 a day for driving hardly anywhere. but soo much fun!
