time for some chromoly axle shafts haha. How did you manage that though..
Whats the specs on that thing, I see its SAS'd, looks like TG 5" Springs and Bilsteins, 3VZE? is that an ARB I see in the rear or just a breather hose..

heres some fancy axle shafts for ya: http://www.trail-gear.ca/default.cfm...dCategoryID=56

and if its still running stock birfs and shafts up front and you managed to break a rear shaft.. uhh, might want to get some Longfield 30 splines for the front too, changing that shit on the trail is not fun.

The relief spring in the oil filter housing is easy if you have a good set of tools.

The oil pump one is a different story.

you said you would fix the bumper before i bought it. you said you would help with the power steering pump. i looked up the power steering pump replacement, shouldnt be a big deal.

also, the passenger side door doesnt lower the window all the way/properly, could that be the window regulator? going to get some new bulbs tomorrow too, wonder if lordco has those phantom bulbs for the clear signals...

NashMan 03-09-2009 06:49 PM

that used to always happen on my Rx-7. spray the crap out of the rubber door seals with a oil based rubber protector, like armorall, but not the water based crap. then roll the window up and down a bunch of times. if that fails, it might be the switch contacts or regular is seizing up.

92SIvic 03-09-2009 08:37 PM

hey ryan, nice truck. got me a similar one, just without the front solid axle.
what size R&P are you running in that thing? how do you find gas milage? Im on the stock 4.10's w/ 33" muds and im spending about $10-20 a day just going to work and maybe the store.

*semi-related question. buddy of mine has a (i believe) 82-85?? Celica-Supra w/ the rear 7.5" 3rd w/ factory lsd... anyone see a reason i can't throw that in my front IFS 7.5"? (4runner)

Renthal 03-09-2009 08:49 PM

are you V6 auto? if so they are BRUTAL... i had to sell mine cause they stink!
if you have the manual at least you have power but still no mileage

NashMan 03-09-2009 08:59 PM

i have 5's around town it was pretty good on the hat rushing home not so much

but alot better then the 4's but thsi thing pretyt much like's 80 to 100 km

why don't they make more 35 13.5 wide tires for r15 toyo makes them but there pricey 2325 for 5

this suck i don't wana go to 12.5

when i get my truck going again we will ahve to meet up and go wheeling

92SIvic 03-10-2009 05:34 PM

ya definatly. im a v6 standard. looking to regear to 4.88 soon... and i did some reasearch on the 83 supra lsd and it looks like a bad idea putting one up front. lock right here i come!

Overstuffed 03-10-2009 09:21 PM

So nashman, is truck going to be ready for the 2010 Olympics and then the Supra soon after?

well... I have some 35x13.5 Bfg Krawlers, at about 50-60%, id let them go for the right price. They arent any worse then any other M/T ive used on the road(noise/vibration).. balanced really easy, they are the harder compound so they dont wear any quicker then any other m/t either. They air right down, never popped a bead (8" wide rims).

Gas mileage with my truck isn't too bad, 4.10's, 20R with a Weber 32/36, exhaust bla bla bla.. I can get 170km out of $20.

Enraged 03-12-2009 08:33 AM

hey ryan do you know how to use the handsfree setup in the bmw? maybe im totally inept, but i havent gotten it to work yet.

Ummmm, from Toyota for $$$$$$$$$$$$$ or from a glass shop for $$$$$, unless you have comprehensive then you MIGHT be able to get it covered.

Generally your situation is very shitty.

Enraged 03-13-2009 07:00 AM

i hope you at least beat up the punk.

paradox just went through the same thing (broken hatch glass), ended up replacing his entire hatch. maybe don has another? lol
