cool.

now, if its not the engine harness, not the ecu, not the coil pack, what else can it be preventing the car from running? CPS/timing is right, but I have a spare CPS to try just in case, and I have a spare igniter to try, I have 3 AFM sensors, so one of them is bound to be good enough for the car to run...

NashMan 07-09-2010 09:01 AM

because your car is evil

and i need my shit box to start so i can bloody shave ( cough yes i am doing the hole lame hockey no shave thing hehehe)

snootworks 07-09-2010 03:19 PM

Toby, did I fuck up your coilpack wiring?! Does it run????

Enraged 07-09-2010 05:22 PM

WE fucked up my coil pack wiring lol

we were looking at the male and female sides of the plugs, but the TSRM indicates the actual pins.

fixed now, and it runs, but still has some issues that I need to fix. It was just too damn hot today to work on it for very long.

NashMan 07-10-2010 08:41 AM

sissy pants

snootworks 07-10-2010 10:41 AM

Well fuck you, TSRM. Glad you got it fired after all the headaches.

edit: I actually worked on my junk the other day, too.

I seemed to have a boost control issue, the issue being unable to produce less than ~19lbs of boost despite a 15lb wastegate spring. Found the problem pretty quick, and made a new dump tube to fix it:
