dirty honkey 08-30-2010 09:06 AM

you can worship me if you want but it just makes sence seeing how u just got the car running

NashMan 08-31-2010 01:25 AM

right

any way

I got a hold on set of rods and piston's

time to build the bottom end like the rest of the car

6m crank
teflone crank scarper
arp though out
delete oil squrters
coat the tops of the new pistons
(((might coat the cyclider head )))
eagle rods
wise co pistons

the piston i am not sure of yet since i have to check the height of my head and make sure i am still with in the ball park to run 9.0 comp piston

and project harr harr is a go hid bhg saved his piston ahahah lucky sob i must say

might have to re ring it thou he went a little loose but we will see still ahve to see what ross pistons want for ring gap

Enraged 08-31-2010 08:07 AM

why delete oil squirters? with your oiling system its not like you need the pressure, and the squirters help cool the pistons. or is it not recommended to run them with forged pistons?

NashMan 08-31-2010 09:25 AM

you just don't have to toby

Enraged 08-31-2010 04:54 PM

aem arrived today, brand new still sealed.

injectors get here tomorrow.

NashMan 08-31-2010 05:17 PM

wow shit box might be ready for fall

NOW i do have to say some thing thou if i finish harr's harr's car and mine you are no longer aloud to own a car and have to pedal every were you go

Enraged 08-31-2010 06:27 PM

ya, some of us work for a living ryan.

84GLI 08-31-2010 06:40 PM

Oil squirters are good though, why delete them? Or do they not have pressure valves in them to keep them from leaking pressure at low rpm?

They have pressure valves.

thsi build is going to be fun i wana beat the record of 462 on 57 trim ct26

Enraged 09-09-2010 08:20 AM

looks like tosh made 405rwhp at 14psi.

NashMan 09-09-2010 11:47 PM

he should put on his big boy pants and trun up the boost

Enraged 09-11-2010 05:16 PM

compression test results: 165,155,0,160,155,160

ha, a bit of an issue with #3, ryan will post a picture

NashMan 09-13-2010 10:07 AM

i will get around to it

snootworks 09-13-2010 12:36 PM

...in 2 years. :P

Enraged 09-13-2010 01:34 PM

i was quite amazed when we pulled the valve covers off...

i might just pull everything off this week, i want to drive the damn car.

snootworks 09-13-2010 08:28 PM

Ya that blows Toby... You have that fresh head you put together ready to go for it though eh?

Enraged 09-13-2010 08:49 PM

just have to shim it and helicoil the exhaust studs.

NashMan 09-13-2010 08:53 PM

you really don't have to heil coil them

Paradox 09-13-2010 09:07 PM

why was your car pushing 0psi on the one piston? i've run a compression test on my car because it runs funny when its cold. like that "blurp blurp blurp" sound. but the compression was ok when its sounding fine. kinda weird. i think its a coil pack because it runs great once that "blurp" goes away.

Enraged 09-13-2010 10:21 PM

if ryan would post the damn picture youd see the issue.

Paradox 09-13-2010 10:47 PM

i'll check back in 2 years.

i do have a spare coil pack, the supra just hasn't been doing much but sitting lately.

Enraged 09-14-2010 09:56 AM

you are coming to PacNW 2011 Murray? we need a big convoy of 400+rwhp supras :)
