Renthal 10-14-2011 08:41 AM

i locked my keys in my supra today while it was running. rock n roll. macguvyer style i pulled one of the lower i/c hoses to make the motor shut off...

but then by the time i managed to get a spare set of keys the battery was dead. what a day.

NashMan 10-21-2011 01:07 PM

Paradox 10-24-2011 05:00 PM

how much?

i only had the supra insured for a little while

NashMan 10-24-2011 07:28 PM

what did you do toby did you pu the back door on the haul ?

Enraged 10-25-2011 12:04 AM

thats some fine engineering right there

murray if you want it i was asking $400 with a jumper harness, but its for an 88, I can sell it separately. so without the harness I figure around $350

Paradox 10-25-2011 03:21 PM

hmm 350 is too rich for me right now. maybe next summer i'll go to a maft... you guys know anyone who will paint a car for cheap? 240sx needs it. i can do the prep.

Enraged 10-25-2011 07:12 PM

im actually looking for someone to paint the supra at some point, just want a stock color respray basically.

Paradox 10-26-2011 08:09 PM

i might just rent a spray gun and try it myself... who knows how that'll come out tho?

Gyuji 10-28-2011 02:40 PM

tremclad and roller works surprisingly well, especially for matte finishes. you can get glossy but it takes more coats and wetsanding.

NashMan 10-28-2011 06:26 PM

i remember my Buddie Joel did the hole paint foam roller thinned out paint job dealio

turn out crazy good but took a long time to dry

plus if Toby looks at paint it will wrinkle in fear from him looking at it what do you think hapend to my engine bay toby dropped by lol

naw. i'm gonna roll on paint to my 240, however i know entirely what you mean. lots of people have had amazing results with the tremclad, but its better to mix it and actually use a spray gun. but i want some shine to the car.. so i'll just buy automotive paint i thinks

AVNGinger 11-10-2011 05:41 PM

who's a trustworthy engine importer these days?

NashMan 11-12-2011 12:39 AM
