yeah i was just curious because ive never seen a ported sub inclosure of this sort...

btw i saw a car JUST like yours the other day, cept it was in crap condition, big ass dent upfront and the paint was horrible. some old guy was driving it, i would have talked to him, but i dont think he gave a shit about his car from the looks of it :D

Enraged 09-03-2002 10:32 PM

mine looks like crap now. needs a wash and wax, cutpolish, rims, a drop from that 4x4 stance... thats what the sub box money is goin towards hehe

Paradox 09-04-2002 01:42 AM

wanna buy some 17x7 Kosei's? :D

bah i need bigger wheels but i dont wanna pay for em! too much cash for wheels.. geezus christ. 18x9 is expensive shit. but damn would it look nice.

Paradox 09-04-2002 01:43 AM

and your car looks pretty good for stock suspension/wheels toby. better than any other 88T ive seen around... thats for sure.

NashMan 09-04-2002 03:08 AM

ok, finished the first layer, ill have to let it dry overnight (fiberglass shrinks as it cures), ill pull it out after work tomorrow.

heres a shot of my well organized garage

1st layer of fiberglass done. notice the orange garbage bags? thats to seal out the stench of fiberglass. when i did my kickpanels in my beretta, it stank like fiberglass for more than a month, so i figured that masking should keep the worst of it out....

Paradox 09-04-2002 08:12 PM

damn dude, your garage is almost as organized as my workshop. ;)

how many layers of fiberglass do you have to put down to complete the bottom section?

Enraged 09-04-2002 08:40 PM

i should be able to get away with a single layer before i can take it out of the car, and then i can add 2 more layers once its out of the car. with proper bracing (something i just learned, soak a peice of rope in resin, then place it, the resin hardens inside the rope, making a very good brace/rib) it will be fine. the only thing is, the spare tire well is pretty big, so it might be too much airspace. soooo what im thinkin is sink the amp and sub into the spare tire well, or you could get a few new subs hehe

Enraged 09-05-2002 04:30 PM

saw a nice red MKIII with decent rims and what looked like the Kaminari rear bumper, looked pretty clean....

im having trouble getting the goddamn sub box out now.... i may have to do another layer in the car, which i didnt want to half to do.... oh well, ill tackle it tomorrow since i have the day off.

Enraged 09-05-2002 07:12 PM

ive decided i need a picture of my car doing a burnout.

NashMan 09-05-2002 07:38 PM

burnt out you mean power slide

Paradox 09-05-2002 08:36 PM

i gotta video camera :D

Paradox 09-05-2002 08:39 PM

ohh, and i can also encode it on the PC and make it into whatever format video ya want.. divx/mpeg/wmv/etc...

trouble is where the hell can you do burn outs around here without getting roasted? goddamn cops in sidney will charge you by the foot if you get busted :(

id do a burn out, but i'd prolly need a tow home. hehe tranny rebuild coming soon. gonna do it this month if the turbo gets here. speaking of the turbo, after about a eon waiting for it, Dave at MVP said its shipped from Greddy.

NashMan 09-05-2002 08:49 PM
