yeah. well 4 grand into building up a auto tranny tends to do that i got bent sideways going into 3rd gear today, 100kph or so :D believe what you will, but on the track... auto wins hands down! point and shoot man, point and shoot... |

no, im gettin the test pipe with the DP i think. exhaust: check DP: late march (different manufacturer, better product) MBC: whenever i find one i like H&Rs: i got a crappy paycheck, so maybe next payday 50-75 shot of nitrous: early summer perhaps |

well, ripped the exhaust off my car today, cut off the flange from the cat, and tried to weld it onto the main straight pipe.... i say "tried" becuase i cant get the damn thing dialed in. my beads (weld) arent penetrating very well, and they are as ugly as ryan after a 4 day beer binge. :) but i have it until 5 pm tomorrow, so if worse comes to worse, ill just tack weld (weld one small spot) to hold all of the peices together, and then get someone else to do the final welding for me. im takin digital pics, ill probably write up a small guide on how to build a dp/cat-back exhaust. |
oh ya, no exhaust, the car is fuckin LOUD! i almost went deaf when i had to take a video back... but on the way home i stopped at a little out of the way spot... holy shit! boost comes on alot faster, i think it went up about 0.5-1 psi maybe (still have stock dp with the brick known as a precat). without powershifting, had no trouble lighting them up in 2nd... this is insane, i cant wait to get my new dp! and then who knows what ;) |
