My overflow bottle is emptying very quickly now... I have to fill it every 3 days. I also leave coolant and oil on the ground, and top up maybe a litre of oil every week. Rod knock is getting louder and is more prevelant through the rpm band...
I should get my line of credit VERY soon, in which case this motor and all it's problems will be pitched!
So who wants to buy 7M parts (minus the ct26, I'm keeping that)

A used motor will be ready to go as well, and replaced parts aren't required. I'll know it's good because it'll come with a warrenty that will take care of things if something goes wrong |

Interesting post on the SOGI list today... And here I always thought Nashman was full of shit. A guy did 3 dyno pulls with his stock turbo cams, swapped in NA cams, and then did 3 more pulls.
Results?
Turbo cams. 268.0 rwhp 284.6 rwt
N/A cams. 277.9 rwhp 301.9 rwt
I feel guilty... Sorry Nashman.
P.S. Yes, I could probably do it for ~ $1000 if I did the work myself, but I don't know how to rebuild an engine, nor do I have the time to do it. For that same $1000 I can get a decent engine and a new CT26 and have it all swapped over a couple of days, and still come out ahead financially. |

ya, saw that post, but ill still wait until dr jonez tests them on his blue car. exhaust cam is the same, and i dont see how there could be a jump of 10 rwhp and 15+ ft-lbs torque from changing just the intake cam.
id rather get custom ground cams, colt cams does them fairly cheap.

you can too spray down your engine. just gotta be careful to cover up all the electronics... ive sprayed down my engine before using degreaser.
this time i didnt cover up around the spark plugs much because thats where all the crap was. and i wanted it out! anyways once i put it back together it should be fine
i want new coil packs to perhaps help my idle since ive replaced everything else that would logically cause idle probs (spark plugs, wires, vac hoses, acordian hose, etc)
i wonder if its the lexus AFM. i should put my old AFM back on and see how it idles

Probably not, I gotta find a better job before I can do shit like that. I'll just get a new Supra somewhere later on down the road.

lies..... all lies!
H&R's have the highest spring rate. you just wont admit it!
i think Hunter s Thompson was talking so quiet cause hes old, drunk and senile, his writting is much better...... amazing writer, hes about the only reason i read books, hes comparable to Kerouac or William S Burroughs. to call him a legend would be a understatement.
anyways... today i finally got to buy a MKIV supra in Motor City online.... only cost 600,00 MCO dollars. hehe
hows 810HP and 790ft/lb torque sound? with handling to match.
