H&Rs kickass.. great performance and a considerable drop. ryan will say the eibachs are better in all ways... but the only actual evidence ive ever seen of the eibachs spring rate vs other springs is that the H&Rs came out ontop..

realistically even with good struts, no spring is going to make as big of a change as sway bars.

NashMan 03-02-2003 04:16 PM

eibachs are better in all ways i find

but the drop is not like the eibocks that it plain and simple i resreach thing to death befor i buy stuff and you all know that

not saying there crappy but eibocks are better plus the price is alot more if even that counts othe then that trd

i pretty sure that eibock makes trd spind and toyota just rebages em and stuff

Enraged 03-02-2003 04:30 PM

TRD = Eibach

H&Rs/Eibach, doesnt really matter. the Eibachs have a high spring rate, just like the H&Rs, they both have no history of sagging (unlike ST springs), the only real difference is the H&Rs are lower.

for me, i want low. i have Koni Yellows, so i can run them full firm, and if they are too low, i can make spacers. hell, i could make a 1" spacer to raise it up, but still get the advantage of higher spring rate and stiffer shocks.

NashMan 03-02-2003 04:45 PM

who cares there better then stoc k

Enraged 03-02-2003 04:49 PM

damn straight hehe

simple question is how much of a drop you want, aside from that there isnt much difference.

so have you decided what kind of shocks your going to get ryan?

Kent Edy 03-02-2003 05:02 PM

Drop

I like the 1.5" in the front, but the 1" in the back is what I'm not sure about. Maybe it's better to go with the Eibachs and save my exhaust. :D I just want a noticable drop. I didn't even know Ryan's car was lowered until he told me.

NashMan 03-02-2003 06:49 PM

yup but i like the hight does not give me atention i don't want my exhuast and bov do good eghou job as it is
as for shock humm might get the same as you got or blisten but i can still use mine still there nto bad yet just shwoing sighns as i said befor and the tires belts are not helping ether

but i was talking to duane and he might sell me eletic fan setup caus ie paying 172 bucks for stock fan shourd is kinda gay

Oh yeah, well yesterday I drove a MKIV to Kelowna and back... Too bad one of the turbos took a shit driving through Hope, no boost + big metal intake/exhaust restrictions + clouds of blue smoke with every shift == slow Supra going up the coke.

Still gets a fuckload more looks than my MKIII does ;)

How it compares to the mk3?... Let's say no comparison :D

A friend of mine bought it (DJ DZ on here and SF), and we were taking it to another friend in Kelowna (Simba on here and SF) to see what he thought of the various issues it has (200,000km)... Turns out we were right about the burning oil being a turbo issue, as they fucking melted halfway there :(

Sweet ass wicked car though, I'm definately buying one as soon as I can afford it.
