smurf: To add depth in your photograph you would have to dodge and burn or use curves. To do it in camera in the future, create a light source behind the doorway to create separation from the doorway to the background. |

Thanks Colin, B+W on the 3rd is just a god awful mess. Unfortunately the bird was too far away so I couldn't use a flash to bring it out. Oh well... such is life. Didn't want to mess with the photos much. I really like the 2nd one too. I like the way the sunlight kisses the leaves from behind. |
i like the 2nd one the most too justin. the third one is quite hard on my eyes to focus :\ i see a lot of your pamphlets at bubble world ;) |
picture of a building that we have a listing in. Not sure if I'll use this shot or not though. The dark sky might be too "powerfull" I might just blow it all out to try to lighten up the mood, or else do a day shot with clear blue sky. Either way, thought it looked sorta cool. http://www.gad.ca/photography/IMG_4818copy.jpg |
CK..I'm looking to buy a place in Van for the next summer (possibly something that is building right now and will be finished by May/June/whatever next year). We should talk.... |

I like that airplane shot better. With a little more saturation and contrast it might look a touch better too. IMO |
airplane shot hand held? |
