i got 9.5/10, -0.5 because of the white areas (i dodged too long, left my hand there for a while)

i still think it's a bad print and i should have gotten like a 7. haha

If you didn't mention that I probably wouldn't have noticed.

MikesJo 06-03-2007 11:28 PM

Kev, is that japan?

Domani 06-03-2007 11:35 PM

yes it is... it's in Shibuya, the intersection is called Shibuya crossing
or often refered to as Hachiko crossing.

the big lcd building is called Qfront building. I dind't know I was
shooting at f11 thus the blurryness

Domani 06-03-2007 11:38 PM

here is another one

Senna4ever 06-03-2007 11:56 PM

Domani, what lens are you using? Vignetting on a 1.5 or 1.6x crop DLR must mean something really wide...8mm?

Domani 06-04-2007 07:43 AM

10mm w/ 2 filters uv+cp... so almost all pics at wide had vignetting..

seriously, ive been looking to get some canvas-printing done for a while.. Can you fill me in on what it costs? where to get done?
This one is really awesome, btw. I like the scale.

Mananetwork 06-04-2007 08:57 AM

It's pretty expensive. At that scale if you take it to any old art place, it'll cost you about 300 bucks. If you shop around at some of the smaller art stores it might save you 80-100 bucks.

Meowjin 06-04-2007 10:51 AM

I get my friend to do all my canvas shots. He did a couple for free for me, and charges me cost for anything else.

pharoaz 06-04-2007 06:20 PM

dang I need to upload my shots from japan too - I keep forgettin to work on them :S

here's a couple from me

Nice shots, gotta love film!

Senna4ever 06-04-2007 08:53 PM

He said 'Fuji Velvia 100 esque." Digital file processed to look like Velvia? The second picture looks like a Velvia slide, but the first one has way too much yellow in the grass...remember, Velvia punches out the reds & greens. I do like the first one though...just tone down the yellow.

Which Velvia do you like? 100 or 100F? You do know that Velvia 50 has been re-introduced, right? At any rate, Velvia is awesome.

Soundy 06-04-2007 10:54 PM

Yes, and it's great in grilled-cheese sandwiches!
