Is that the Nikon 18-200 VR you're using or are you using some other 18-200? Quote:

I htink he has the 18-200 VR. |
SWEET! I have the same lens and have never tried any MACRO shots with it yet. . . maybe I should start experimenting when I have some time. That macro shot he made is beautiful! Quote:

It is a good shot, but it would be great if that leaf in the background wasn't there, IMHO. |

I was kinda rushing since I was afraid the wind would blow the leaf away. And thanks for your tips on night photography, I went back yesterday and they turned out better than the first time I went. As for the 18-200VR, a lot of ppl have taken nice macro shots with it, however, mine always looked like crap. That is the first one that looked decent IMO. |

any comments on this one? I'm thinking I maybe should have brightened up the dolphins a little and I'm not sure if I should leave the bike there or not either... http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/7...dr2copylv7.jpg |
The picture is beautiful btw. I think the bike is very distracting. Takes away from the picture imo. |
ckrieg, that location looks so much nicer when there isn't snow all around, lol. Stayed there once during a ski trip. |
yeah i think the bike breaks the picture, otherwise quite nice |

#2 FTW. I really like number 2, i wish I had someone to pose for me so I can shot some awesome pics like that. |

colin: actually it's the clouds that bother me the most. i guess not for anyone else? |
gfunk, i love the first and second shots. The third i like as well, but i'll agree with colin - lines suck. and dub dub, i kind of agree about the clouds though they didn't bother me entirely until you brought it up. The bike doesn't bother me that much, makes the shot look more natural and sponanious rather than set up - but it'll look "beautiful" without the bike for sure. |
allan if you want to frame her with the railings you can crop it tighter, then it might work |
