Senna4ever 09-27-2007 12:08 AM

Well, that was stupid. I hope you learned your lesson. I'll bring you some next time from my missus' lab.

While we're on the topic of my missus' lab:

No, I did not ask what was inside.

LOL! At first glance, I thought that was a joke and it was hooked up to a photocopier :p

Mananetwork 09-27-2007 08:08 AM

Heh, no...it's a -133C degree freezer for tissue samples. This one holds ovarian cancer tumors.

Kamui712 09-28-2007 11:44 PM

do only dslr cameras have the HDR function? or am i totally off the ball here (is it a photoshop tech)?

IMASA 09-29-2007 12:29 AM

You just need a camera that can shoot RAW and a program that can generate HDR images. I use Photomatrix. You can even use JPEG's, but they don't always turn out as good.

Senna4ever 09-29-2007 12:41 AM

You don't need RAW. Just bracket with JPEG.

Did you randomly walk up to them or do you know them?

Alphamale 09-29-2007 01:05 AM

Dang...I gotta find out how to do HDR..

Random. Working on my street photography.

ColinK 09-29-2007 06:06 AM

I'd find that hard to do. Most people dont want their picture taken, did you ask first or after? or not at all?

My camera doesn't have Auto Exposure Bracketing, so I shoot 1 RAW, use Photoshop to make 4 more RAW's, usually +/-1.0, +/-2.0 exposure and use Photomatrix to combine all 5 files together and tone map them.

After 2-3 months of taking pics of landscapes and such, it's getting really dull. I want to start shooting pp, but most seem like they do not want to be in pics or they give me the "why are you taking my pic" look. Do you ask them or just shoot away from a distance?

Mananetwork 09-29-2007 10:40 AM

for the first 3 did you use a flash Jason?
Beautiful exposure!

I asked. The one holding the camera up wanted me to take a picture of her taking a picture of me.
