what camera do you have that doesn't have AEB?

bikerx 09-30-2007 07:12 PM

dunno maybe he had something else to do

dspirit79 09-30-2007 07:16 PM

Sent Mike home after the reception started. I think he had an assignment for school he wanted to get working on. S'okay, the reception was pretty laid back.

You get some good pix?

bikerx 09-30-2007 07:20 PM

Where the flash it the guys face and her hand, the detail is lost. I keep focusing on the hand becasue of it.

I don't think the background seperates them enough either. THe skin tones are pretty close to that background colour

Pretty dead. Slept for 2 hrs this morning before getting to class. Had to sleep on a team mates couch at their place cause we finished the project at 6am. 30 hrs of work over 3 days! 15 of them in one. It was the top 3 projects though so that was good :). Had a good team.

bikerx, was that you with the mk2?

dspirit79 10-01-2007 04:48 PM

Tom, you need to calibrate your monitor. Your contrast is too high.

This photo in print (and on my monitor) is just right for the details in the shadows as I can still see the stitching on the neck line. As well, I have no problems seeing details in her hand.

MikesJo 10-01-2007 04:55 PM

It's that high contrast Samsung he has.

Wrong twice.
I was looking it up at work *our monitors are calibrated* and the tv at home is Sharp, not Samsung

Car Chick 10-01-2007 06:33 PM

my monitor isn't exactly state-of-the-art but some of the details in the hand are lost for me as well... not entirely, but i do see tom's point.

Senna4ever 10-01-2007 10:39 PM

Yeah, just calibrated my monitor, and the image is a little hot. If I tilt the monitor away from me at a 45 degree angle, then it's ok. Is it me?

MikesJo 10-01-2007 11:37 PM

Looks fine on my 15.4" Macbook pro screen :).
