Hopefully you don't mind my alterations. | Can't say I'm really fond of your color alterations - looks like you were trying to "warm it up" but you really just ended up making it kinda orange (at least on my monitor). I don't mind the yellowish tinge to the original, it gives a feeling of having "interesting light" without her looking jaundiced.
As for the "breast fix"... it's not really noticeable, I'll have to study that one in more detail...

^ I agree about the color, I liked the original color and thought it was intentional. The "breast fix" is quite good, if you are looking at the right spot, he didn't fix the blur at the bottom, he fixed the fact that she was pulled away from the top of the bra. See it now?

Oh, odd!
Apparently the monitor I was playing on was buggering things up! The original looked FAR more green than it actually is, and my recolor looks like someone dropped a bottle of red...
This then, is a new one.
And The Civic man is right, I muted the shadow a bit, and filled the cup.

Comparing film sizes. 35mm on the left, 6x6 medium format in the middle, 4x5 large format on the right. I thought the detail in the 6x6 was amazing when i first used it. The detail in the 4x5 neg is phenomenal.

It is slightly off center, tilted to the right, however I love the colours. I would normally find the object of your picture uninteresting, but with the blue in the sky, the colour of the building, it makes it very appealing. I think I would have also cropped it abit short, and have taken a little of the stone off the bottom.

Thanks for the feedback.
I tried to even it out based on the pillars on either side. That is the original sky, however, it is from a lighter darker exposure. In "real life" it looked quite similar

colin, the only thing that i see "off" about that photograph is that the brick in the bottom of the photo isn't symmetrical/straight.
Also, if you had a chance to go back and shoot it, i would have less of a centred subject, and more negative space (whether it be the sky, or the brick)... but it is too even on each end right now for my liking |
