Nice shot, bikerx!

dspirit79 12-07-2007 04:16 PM

Something simple. Just a quick portrait session.

i'm not a fan of your watermark, not liking the soft edges and that it looks like it's drawn with a mouse

K-Dub 12-07-2007 11:45 PM

overall the picture looks really really soft.

ColinK 12-08-2007 08:41 AM

I love the shot of the girl laying in the water! SO nice!

dub.dub 12-09-2007 12:36 AM

Which is nice? :D

I like what you did with the background, how it blends to nothing.

dspirit79 12-09-2007 10:16 AM

Most of the background to fade is really bokeh. It's sand and water. It looks like it goes to infinity. I had to patch up a small chunk of the photo where the sand met the water but that's about it.

mc25 12-11-2007 03:37 PM

Just goofing around.

MikesJo 12-11-2007 04:27 PM

mc25, that's pretty cool.

Not even close Denny. This couple was fairly close in size and height. The lady was a slightly larger, but managable.

maybe too much with the filter but I like how it turned out

niforpix 12-16-2007 12:46 PM

Took some photos of my grandma's dog. Gonna get them developed and framed for her for Christmas since she doesn't really have any photos of her dog, and the thing is so cute :)

Some photoshop was used to get rid of the leash which was in both of the photos taken outside.

Let me know what you guys think.

I like #1 the most, but maybe crop the dead space on the right side, and try to get a less usy background. Try to get some close-up shots too.

Domani 12-16-2007 04:31 PM

expression on the 3rd one is funny

niforpix 12-16-2007 06:02 PM

Thanks guys :)

This dog is actually really scared of the camera, especially when the camera makes the beeping noise while focusing... I'm not sure why, maybe something happened to him when he was little.

He's very smart tho, he knows that when you say "walk" he is going for a walk, that's why he twists his head like that, because he's actually listening to every word you say. Normally he wouldn't even look at the camera, so I had to constantly keep saying "walk"... That's why it was so hard to get a shot of him, especially up close.

Turn off the beep! :) Better soon before he learns that it comes from the camera!
